Ely,
The Vivaty service and tools (Vivaty Player and Vivaty Studio) are free however they are not open source.

Great scenes. Unfortunately we do not support the upload of 3D objects or scenes yet. We ran a contest a few months back and gathered a lot of valuable information but have yet to enable the upload of 3D objects.

Vivaty offers two downloads, the Vivaty player and Vivaty Stuido. Currently the player only works in conjunction with the Vivaty service. You can read more in the terms of use.
Vivaty Studio is a free 3D creation tool that supports many popular 3D formats, including X3D. Through our Vivaty Create program we hope to enable content creators to upload content directly to Vivaty, but that functionality is not available presently.

Justin Gibbs replied on November 13, 2008 19:30 to the problem "Videos do not work and image that I put not work too + the "Facebook Gallery" displays no picture" in Vivaty:
Sorry to hear you're having trouble. You seem to have bumped into two known bugs. We hope to have a fix for the videos in the very near future. The Facebook pictures are a bit more troublesome as they are dynamic and pull from Facebook. If you're looking to add images to your scene you might try out our Flickr picture frames, which pull directly from yours or any Flickr account.
Justin Gibbs replied on November 06, 2008 23:29 to the problem "Load not complete objects and textures missing" in Vivaty:
First make sure that your system meets our recommended requirements. If your system only meets our minimum requirements you might run into issues loading scenes with a lot of objects. If it's you're own scene you're having trouble with, try removing some of the objects. You might also want to experiment with the number and type of files you reference in your scene - if you're referencing textures from a slow server it can also bog down the load time.

dionisis84,
Check to see that OpenGL is enabled. You might also want to double check that your Toshiba Satellite meets our system requirements.
Thanks,
justin
