Quick note to let you know I've refunded (in full) all monies paid by you to Tweetminer because I know how annoying it is to pay for a service that doesn't work as expected. Hope this helps with the general TM experience! Cheers, Justin :) – Justin, on December 04, 2009 19:37

To try to avoid this kind of scenario in the future I have changed the "Get Support" link in TweetMiner to point to this page here...

TweetMiner Support And Feedback Options-
General Support & Feature Requests (Preferred!)

If you have a non urgent issue or feature request please report it on this Get Satisfaction forum where it will be dealt with as soon as possible (usually within a few days). Start by clicking "Start a topic" top right (above this message)

Urgent Support
-
If you you need urgent support on any issue please send an email to support@tweetminer.net

The main reason to use this public forum to get support is because when your request is answered it can also help others who come here :)
With that in mind, please have a quick search through these forums to see if your question has already been answered!-

Justin replied on December 04, 2009 18:09 to the problem "Scheduled rolling posts don't get posted." in tweetminer:
Apologies for taking so long to get back about this. I shoudl have looked in and followed this up but was so busy with other commitments.
If you would like this fixed please send an email to support@tweetminer.net with your login details. The most likely reason is that the rolling schedule is paused in the settings screen from an update I pushed through around the time you posted this. If that is the case you can click settings and un-check the pause rolling schedule box.
Also, this will work on the free version so it's no problem for you to cancel the subscription as requested in your later post.
Justin replied on December 04, 2009 18:03 to the problem "Why was someone who I really don't even know that well asking me to promote?" in tweetminer:
On the signup page there is very clear instructions that you can contact me directly by sending an email to support@tweetminer.net (so you didnt need to use this service)
I will try to make that more clear on the site.
Regarding your other comments/thoughts - Tweetminer can be used for completely free for as long as you want. There are certain limitations (250 API calls per day and 25 schedule tweets month)
But, we have plenty of free users who find that enough. In fact, of the 1946 users who use tweetminer 1892 use it for free - only 52 pay (as of right now)
So, given that Tweetminer is a business I'm not quite sure what is wrong with our approach.
1) We offer the tool for free
2) Then once per session we say, if you like it, perhaps you could consider a upgrading (but we don't force an upgrade, and it is one click to remove the box)
Further more, Tweetminer is a radically transparent company where absolutely everything we do is made public on our stats page: http://tweetminer.net/stats
Also, the ongoing business decisions and motivations of tweetminer are openly and frankly discussed weekly on the my tech podcast http://techzinglive.com
I/we literally have nothing to hide, the entire business is laid bare every step of the way!
Not exactly sure what part of tweetminer is bad, or slippery?
