Sorry to say this is super cumbersome and rather annoying. Sadly I'm going to have to go back to Google Reader until there's a fix or at least a response about this.

It would produce some security in people (namely, me) who use Tumblr knowing that if they should ever choose to leave the platform, their data (and images) are available via the API.

Can we get a solid answer on this?

I have mine right inside the permalink tag, because I only want the tags visible when you're viewing each entry.

But you can also put it within each block, just try it out a few diff places.

Can't turn a photo post into a photoset.

I noticed when I create a post type of Photo I have the option of creating a photoset. However, if I choose to upload only a single photo, save and then come back to that entry I cannot make it into a photoset.

Is there a reason why that is? I think it would be nice to have the option to edit a photo post and upload additional photos, making it into a photoset.

Is photoset a different content type that a photo all together?

Is this something the tumblr team would consider? It would really help to promote other posts by the author within the same topic. So if someone did a lot of DIY articles, the {block:RelatedPosts} would promote other articles the reader might be interested in.
