remove category nominationsHow do I go about removing myself from three of the four categories? Somehow, one got added without my knowledge and now when people follow the link, they vote in the least important categories. I'm really only interested in the "Best Podcast" category making easier for people to know what they're voting for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Dave, I'm just going to let it go for now. However, that click to play might just be understable regarding embeded flash objects. I was following the threads on similar issues to which you responded. Anyway, some girl posted a link to her page which I went to check out. She had a giant flash app of some sort that covered a good portion of the page. As it was loading, my antivirus went off and shut it down. It appeared to be some sort of javascript (.js) trojan. So now, I've got another issue to take care of...LOL. I'll start scanning is soon as I finish up around here. Thanks again.

Okay, I installed Firefox and checked my page. Initially, I received the same error. After closing everything out and going back into it, it worked however the left side was all jumbled. So, I went back and edited the app and removed the placeholder pic logo that displays when the widget is unavailble, and that corrected the issue. However, you have to press play to get the actual widget to show up. I then rebooted the computer and went back into it and this time the widget showed up and automatically loaded. So then, I went back via Explorer and continued to experience the same problem. I've checked everything, Pop-ups aren't an issue, since there are none, firewall not an issue and Facebook had already been added to my trusted sites. Considering that 60% of my followers use Explorer about 20% Firefox and the rest other, this is critical for me.
Having wasted an entire day yesterday and most of my morning on this very issue, I think I should let it go. I did Google my problem only to find at least two other people with the same issue within the last thirty days that apparently went unresolved. This is the very reason I wanted to try before I buy, but you indicated that that was not something you were doing at this point. Then I read a post you made indicating that Pro users were given that very opportunity.
Ultimately, I think this should go back into beta, because I do think that there are browser compatiblity issues as well as with Facebook. This is very disappointing, because I really wanted to use this service. For now, I'll just stick with my basic Pro service. If in the future, if all these issues get resolved, then please feel free to drop my an email and I'll consider trying the service again.
Thanks.

Alright Dave, since I'm stuck with the service for the full 30 days, I'm trying to make the best of it so I can keep it. Here is the error message at the bottom of the page I'm receving when I try to access my blog page:

I still can't upload the capture image even though it's smaller than 2mbs. Hopefully this will help. I've also sent an email to all of my followers on Facebook and elsewhere, asking them to go to my fan page and then post on the wall as to what exactly they see. I've set the blog page to be my landing page, but as of yet it's not honoring my request. Hopefully, the information above will help you figure out what my problem is and the responses I get back from other people might provide some more input.
Out of curiosity, does this app have to be listed in the Widgetbox Gallery to work?
Thanks Again.

Duh, I guess that would help. http://www.facebook.com/partyfavorz. Also, I set the RSS app as my landing page, and that didn't work either. I also noticed that I had previously tried to use this app which I guess you guys have listed in the FB app store and it didn't work then either. In fact, same issue. Just in case, I made sure I deleted that and the note's tab which already had my feed going through it, just so there wouldn't be any problems. I'm interested to see what you find, because there are several apps I would like to use and run them through your service that also don't work. Checking those message boards, I know I'm not the only one (namely 'discograpny' and 'podcast player'). One thing at a time.

Facebook Fan Page RSS App Won't LoadI just upgraded my Pro account so I could add some of your awesome apps to my Facebook Fan Page. While I have a question about the header, I'll wait on that until this other issue is resolved. I designed the RSS/Blog app to my specs and submitted it to my page, but it just continues to load. I closed my browser and then went directly into my page and clicked on the tab, but it still appears to be loading. I have to say, this is far superior to the original Facebook "notes" page which is pretty buggy in itself. One other thing, I read your email this morning and followed the thread about fan pages on Mashable. Someone had posted their page in the comment section which used a competitor of Widgetbox. When I went to their page, I enountered the same problem. Is this a Facebook issue or a browser issue. I'm currently running Explorer 8.
A comment on the question "Facebook Fan Page Upgrade Try B4 U Buy" in Widgetbox:
Not a problem. Currently I'm in the process of doing some serous re-coding on my site for better access and ease of use (and of course better search rankings). Should be done by the end of this week. I'll go ahead and check out your Fan Page service by mid-October and see if it's right for me. Thanks again. – whiwo, on September 28, 2009 16:48

Facebook Fan Page Upgrade Try B4 U BuyI upgraded to the pro widgetbox to remove the advertising. Looking at your services, I'm really interested in the Facebook Fan Page application. As you probably are aware, Facebook's Fan Page has very poor fuctionality. There are several widgets I would like to use I've seen elsewhere, but they won't install on my page. After reading the message boards for these apps, it appears I'm not the only one. This makes your service look very attractive to me. However, my concern is that at some point Facebook might decided to block many of the rich feature applications you're offering if they decided to offer something themselves. I realize, that's a chance everyone takes when submitting their own apps to the service, but I was wondering if there is anyway to try it out free for a couple of months (maybe ad supported) to see if it's right for my needs. $19.95 a month is pretty steep, but would be worth it once I'm convinced this is what I'm looking for. Any thoughts of allowing potential customers to try before they buy in the near future?
whiwo replied on September 26, 2009 14:44 to the question "What's with the disappearing widget?" in Widgetbox:
Dave, all is good. I'm not certain what was happening. I would install the widget on Facebook and on my site and within 24 hours it would say "no image available". Anyway, it does appear to be working just fine now. Please accept my apology for being rude. I've been under a lot of stress lately. Thanks again.

whiwo asked a question in Widgetbox on September 22, 2009 11:55:
What's with the disappearing widget?I'm getting really frustrated with you Widgetbox. I left earlier this year due to all the issues I was having once you began your advertisement program. Due to the fact that several people had installed my widget on their sites, they were asking if I was going to bring it back. So now, I'm back and went pro and have designed my own widget that ties in with my site. I have done this twice already and within 24 hours the widget no longer shows up on my site nor Facebook. What gives? I noticed that my widget changes to a plain widget without the summary or images that I initially requested to be included. The first time, I ended up with multiple widgets in my account that I never created. I'm going to go back and do it one last time, but if this happens again, I'll will be including your service in a viral post that's going up later this week about Facebook and their practices. Help me get this straightened out. There isn't enough time in my day to have to be jacking around with this every other day. Thanks.
A comment on the problem "feed is not updating" in Widgetbox:
Hi Dave, thanks for the response. I've got everything worked out. The problem was on GoDaddy.com Updated there servers, switched IP address, but it didn't change my A record. Then I had to delete my Feedburner feed and start a new one. Problem solved. This had nothing to do with Widgetbox. Pissed...yeah. But, I'm glad I got it resolved. Thanks again. – whiwo, on June 22, 2009 19:07

Yes, my site's name is Party Favorz. All of a sudden, my posts just showed up. This is strange, because I posted these much earlier today. There is a much longer delay for them to appear in the network than one hour. I'm not sure why. I burn my feed through Feedburner, which publishes instantly. I probably wouldn't have bothered with this, but my posts were pertinent to today's election, which is why I was concerned. At least it's now showing up.

Thanks Dave, I was following your directions and it just didn't work. Then, when I could expland the additional comments on the initial string, I saw you mentioned in a later post to delete the original submission and then go back and be re-added and follow the procedure. Once I did that, it worked perfectly. Thanks again.
