Cannot register w/ my e-mail addressI like to filter my incoming gmail by appending +something to my username, which the service supports. But your site will not let me register because of the plus sign. Please fix this.

A comment on the idea "twitter feeds on people sidebar as timeline?" in Flock:
So Flock's Twitter app cannot do what EVERY Twitter app does, including Twitter itself? Perhaps the Flock team needs to go back and re-evaluate this (and fix it quickly!) – kamnet, on September 02, 2009 23:52

kamnet started following the idea "Multiple Twitter Accounts" in Flock.
A comment on the question "Gloss Theme and other Colorful Themes" in Flock:
I tried the BlackJapan-Fl, WiFl and WimmFlock themes. I noticed two problems with all three. First, they created menus with transparent backgrounds and no borders, making it difficult to read the menu text (although a cool option for somebody who likes minimalist/bare-bones themes). Second, all of them prevented the All-in-One Sidebar (AiOS) extension from displaying panels in the sidebar.
Also with the Black-Japan-Fl theme, the toolbar background graphic didn't load, creating a half-black, half-gray toned toolbar. Also, the "Stop" button appears to be missing in that theme - while the screen shots do not display the stop button, I imagine it was omitted on purpose, but all themes should at least implement or replace the default buttons.
The themes look like good starts, though. One part that would be nice, although I'm not sure if it can be changed, is continuing the theme into the Facebook Chat extension. It sticks out like a sore thumb using any of these themes. – kamnet, on September 02, 2009 17:45

In short, right now you cannot change the theme (easily) because they changed too many things. Now if you're interested in using an add-on like Stylish and learn how to hack your way though, you could do that, but it's not for th faint of heart and it's not easy to do right now. – kamnet, on September 02, 2009 05:08

kamnet asked a question in Flock on August 31, 2009 02:17:
Update on loading Favorites in the sidebar?Any update on when Flock will fix the problem of not being able to load Favorites into the sidebar? There are a few custom pages that I've created which load as sidebars that I can no longer use in Flock. I've also recently started using the web-based multi-IM client imo.im, which works a lot nicer than other competitors (including Meebo & Yoono) and works quite nice as a sidebar app (especially when you use Stylish to clean it up a little). Having this would completely round out my social browsing experience in Flock.
kamnet replied on August 20, 2009 00:41 to the idea "Yoono" in Flock:
As a person who just installed Yoono for Firefox two weeks ago, and a person who just installed Flock on Monday, Flock's implementation of Facebook tools is far and away better than Yoono's.
While I do wish Flock had a nice multi-IM interface like Yoono has, I can't say that Yoono's implementation of multi-IM is any better. Frequently Yoono cannot sync to the services even after multiple requests to reconnect. There is also an annoying bug where Yoono is flooding Twitter w/ more than 150 requests/hr, which causes your account to be temporarily frozen.
kamnet replied on August 06, 2009 17:43 to the problem "Too Many Twitter Requests" in Yoono:
I'm getting an error that Yoono is exceeding 150 connections/hr to Twitter. Yoonoo is the only Twitter client I'm using, which means it's connecting every 20 seconds. I *THOUGHT* I went through a config to set it to check Twitter every 5 minutes, which means it should only be connecting 60 times/hr. I cannot seem to find a configuration setting though. Am I missing something?

Create your own themes?I haven't looked through any files on my hard drive yet, but is there a way to create/customize your own theme. No offense, but I find the current ones to be too bold for me, doesn't match either my Firefox or Windows theme at all.
