.the "automatic updates" (previous functioning) DID push things off the page before you got to read them (or while you were reading)----that was the major complaint that spurred this change.
Got it. I'm pretty good at scanning so I didn't mind that it pushed things off the page, but I can see why others were complaining. I can live with it.

Often, too many events at once. Pushes everything else off my screen and I have to scroll down to see what's new and have lost what I was already looking at.
Also, gives me another "to-do". I have to constantly click to see what's going on. I know that sounds stupid, like "how hard is it to use your turn signal, dude, it's right on your steering wheel" kind of stupid, but seriously, I just don't want to have to continually drag the mouse to the stream and click to tell it to update me. I'd at least like the option to set it and forget it.
Again, another stupid user comment. The little yellow "new events" box is distracting. Like Minggl's now nagging me to do something, rather than just doing something for me automatically as it was doing. I'm looking at what I'm typing to you right now and it's pulling at my left field of vision. It's annoying. See the attached image and you'll see--it really stands out even though I know you guys intend for it to be subtle.

message says "you have XX new events" rather than automatic updates to my streamwhy am I now getting a message saying "you have XX new events" rather than automatic updates to my stream? The stream no longer updates on its own now. I have to click on the "You have XX new events!" message to get people's updates. Is there a preference somewhere to change or is this how Minggl works now? (Don't love it if that's how it works, btw.)

Deselecting Facebook in Status Update still updates FacebookWhen I update, sometimes I don't want to update all my networks. Usually not Facebook, so I deselect it under "Status Update". So why is it still posting my update to Facebook? Isn't that what deselecting the checkbox should do?
