how old is it and where did you buy it, we had 2 Ge microwaves we bought at Walmart the first lasted 5 weeks, and the 2nd failed the 2nd day, returned to Walmart refunded on both-

We bought a GE 1.1cf Ge Microwave, it worked great for the first 4 weeks, and then just stopped, not extra noise, then we replace it thinking it must have been a flute the 2nd one only worked when it wanted to , we will be taking that back on Saturday and not buying another one we will buy another brand this time -

I don't know what her problem was, but she did not want to be bothered by us, she just kept saying that I will refund your money and you can be on your merry way, besides that we have been using microwave for more than 30 years and most held up for 5 to 10 years, but since we bought this GE model we have had 2 within 5 weeks, each failed, so that is also a major problem. -

GE microwaves and WalmartAnyway about a month ago we bought a GE 1.1cf Microwave it worked only for 5 weeks, we took it back to walmart and they refunded the purchase price which was not enough to replace the microwave being the price went up at their store. so we went ahead and bought the exact same make and model thinking it was just a flute, but the 2nd microwave filed within one day. We will be returning it to Walmart, this time we will buy a replacement of a different make.
so our problem is two fold, first the GE microwave, having 2 failures in less than 6 weeks, and 2nd that Walmart refunded the money instead of allowing us a replacement at the same price
