(i think that drupal is somehow cutting out parts of the stylesheets... for ie6, i'm not totally sure, whether it is a problem...)

the problem is, that your css-stuff is not complete on your site. you're missing out on the background-properties. (the css part you have in the header is only for :hover and for ie6).

what might be is, that the system you're using is filtering out the background, that there's some interference with other plugins or so. what cms/blogsoftware are you working with?

if you're adding the following to the header styles than it should work (not for ie6 though):

a.soundcloud-dropbox {
background: transparent url(http://a1.soundcloud.com/images/dropb...) top left no-repeat;
}

ah, it seems as if you took out the part for the background-image in the link.

try to add: background: transparent url(http://a1.soundcloud.com/images/dropb...) top left no-repeat;

so, that the link will look like that:

the download button is on the first positions, if you're not the owner.
so, the people seeing your track, will see the download option immediately.

we are hiding the download, favorite and buy option for the owners a bit, to reduce the number of buttons. the actions like share, add to set and edit seem to be more relevant for the owner of a track.
