A comment on the question "How do I create a PBwiki account?" in PBwiki:
Hi there! You'll have to talk to someone at HSC to get access to their wiki. Best of luck! – Casey Greene, on July 08, 2008 19:59

I just sent some feedback from inside PBwiki 2.0 -- I called it "Problem with Editor in 2.0 -- the mystery of the missing text"
Here's what I sent to the PBwiki team: "I entered some text in the "Edit" window, then saved, but some of the text was missing in the "View". I went back into "Edit" -- the missing text was still missing. I found an awkward workaround -- I copied the entire section, before and after the missing text, pasted that into Word or Notepad, then copied from Word or Notepad, went back to the "Edit" window and pasted -- the visible and invisible text are all there, where expected. I saved, and the "View" page looks like I expected it to."
All of this was inside Firefox (2.0.0.12).
I'm very pleased with 2.0, and I guess this is just one of those things they'll be working on before the formal release.

Hi Kathleen,
We showed a message to educational users yesterday about our Premium features. We made it easy for students to click through and get right to their wiki.
We also noticed that users were confused about this, so we've developed new ways to make this easier in the future. We'll also be trying to only show this to teachers as much as possible.

Kathleen Ferenz reported a problem in PBwiki on February 26, 2008 19:03:
we are getting messages we didn't expect and get confusedI generally introduce a new wiki by having my links prepared while I set up - now I get a message that asks me if I want to get new info or take me to my wiki - this is too surprising and it not what i expect when I click on a link.
this is NOT good for new users of a wiki - can this stop?

Well, I get it now, and I survived the presentation. (Thanks Ramit)
I would love it if there was a little help link right next to the new sign in that directly answers our questions related to the new sign in process - something like - "What is this?" or "Learn More" and NOT have to sort through the Get Satisfaction site. I got lost in that site and had to use slings and arrows to find my way back.
Having a little pop up box or roll over or something to explain the new sign in process. The beauty of pbwiki is the ease of use (and reliability too)
The web is undergoing so many changes, and whole idea of user, password, login, "your account" is interpreted differently all over the Internet.
