I generally introduce a new wiki by having my links prepared while I set up - now I get a message that asks me if I want to get new info or take me to my wiki - this is too surprising and it not what i expect when I click on a link.
this is NOT good for new users of a wiki - can this stop?

I would love it if there was a little help link right next to the new sign in that directly answers our questions related to the new sign in process - something like - "What is this?" or "Learn More" and NOT have to sort through the Get Satisfaction site. I got lost in that site and had to use slings and arrows to find my way back.

Having a little pop up box or roll over or something to explain the new sign in process. The beauty of pbwiki is the ease of use (and reliability too)

The web is undergoing so many changes, and whole idea of user, password, login, "your account" is interpreted differently all over the Internet.

ahhhh, that is the clever magic that makes things appear automatically in my.pbwiki - so that is more clear to me now.

Ok, sounds good.

so the steps are a little confounding....I thought I knew my way around, but I'm getting a little muddled here

step 1
everyone makes their account
step 2
the owner of the wiki invites the employee?
or does the employee try to add the wiki?

(When I tried the "add it" way, I was simply taken to the homepage of the wiki and then not sure what to do next.

which is step 2? Easiest way to add employees?

We have a little issue we are trying to solve in our organization - it is getting to be madness now with the login and security. We (heard from Ramit) that this will be solved with pb 2.0 ...but in the meantime...we find ourselves in crazy mode with login and password, public and private and the changes

I have to help 14 of our folks figure out the the least painful way of getting access to all wikis in our organization.

In reading the above notes I gather that I should help everyone get a my.pbwiki.com account

or should I (to make life easier for our office) send out an invite key?

what do you all think?

I wish I could send you a screen shot - because I thought I was going crazy - I decided to take a before and after picture. If I could upload it to this discussion board but I have this link to a page so you can see what I'm trying to describe.

Hi Clif (take two! as my other reply went away)

I kept trying and trying and I am now getting most of my edits - but they sometimes do not show, even on the source code did not show changes I could see on the page before clicking "save". All the other pages - except QuickStart which is also not holding all my changes - are working.

I'm working in Firefox 2.0.0.12 and Mac OS 10.5.2
Satellite from home connection
I have a beta 2.0 account and know to close and relaunch the browser (this caused other bugs)
Sometimes words overlap too.
