Kathleen replied on September 28, 2009 21:30 to the discussion "A New Quicken for Mac" in Intuit:
I am a long-time Quicken user. I recently switched to a mac, bought quicken 2007 for mac and was IMMEDIATELY disappointed with its functionality. I will put up with this version for now and buy the new version in Feb, but if it's not as good or BETTER than the windows version, I will be shopping for a new financial software.

Delete content directly from the ipodI'd like to delete content, especially podcasts, directly from my ipod.
I download a LOT of podcasts. I often decide I'm not interested in the episode within the first 20-30 seconds. I would like to delete it immediately from the ipod rather than finding the episode in itunes and deleting it later. I sometimes keep episodes I've watched because they have helpful content, so I don't want to delete EVERY episode that is not new.-

A comment on the idea "I want to play iPhone music through my stereo bluetooth headphones." in Apple:
Hi. I like the Motorola S9 headphones, but they take a bit of getting used to. They slip around a bit when I use them to workout (yuk), and the microphone (for BT cellphone use) recently stopped working on mine after about 6 months of casual use. I already knew they tended to short out when used for workouts, so I didn't use them for that (except for a handful of times). So now I'm in the market for a new BT headset too! -- One that will switch between cellphone and stereo BT. Mine still works for listening to stereo BT, but I can't use it to talk on the cellphone anymore. – Kathleen, on March 18, 2009 05:53

Allow users to tag appointments with multiple keywords.I would prefer to TAG each of my calendar items (appointments) rather than assigning them to only one calendar.
Let users create their own custom tags.
Let users save logical tag combinations (using "and" and "or" operators) into named calendars. For example:
- "Main Family Cal" is assigned the tags: (Family AND HighPriority).
- "Fun Family Cal" is assigned the tags: (Vacation OR Fun OR party).
Put a TAG CLOUD on the left panel instead of a vertical list of calendars. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tag_cloud)
Let users click to highlight (toggle on/off) multiple tags in the tag cloud in order to view the matching appointments on their month/day/list calendar display.
Allow users to set colors for named calendars (tag combinations), as is currently available in the My Calendars section...because that's REALLY HELPFUL!
Thank you, Google! I love you!-

Wonderful! Thanks. That's exactly what I needed, although I agree, it's indirect. – Kathleen, on December 31, 2008 20:57

On the friends page, show which friends are following me back.I'd like to be able to scan through the list of people I follow (on the friends page) and see which ones follow me back. If they DON'T follow me back, I might want to stop following them.
On the followers page, each follower entry shows my status - whether I am currently following them. For example, my follower list says "You are following CaliLewis" next to her picture.
Can a similar follow status be added to the friends page? For example, "CaliLewis is following you also."-

I want to play iPhone music through my stereo bluetooth headphones.I'd like to play my music/audio from my iPhone through my bluetooth stereo headset. My work-around includes a Sony bluetooth transmitter. The Motorola S9 works just fine with this setup. Unfortunately, this is kinda stupid since the iPhone is bluetooth-enabled. I'd like to buy an iPhone for my sister, but I will wait for this capability.

Give Google docs an outline view similar to MS Word.I prefer google docs to MS Word for collaborative development of documents, but I can only see one section of the document I'm working on. This is very frustrating.
I would like to open multiple small sections of the document by expanding sections of an outline. Often I need to refer to multiple related sections in order to ensure they support each other and are not redundant.
The google docs format button already provides 3 levels of heading formats.
Why not provide an outline view similar to MS Word with +/- signs (or other method) for expanding/contracting outline sections at each header.
It would really help me be more productive if I were able to view the entire document at a high level and expand only the sections I wish to work on.
I love google docs! Thank you!-
