I have the same problem with each of the 7 feeds I've attempted to set up tonight, all from different reputable sources like Google, the LA Times, etc. All validate just fine at feedvalidator.org. Here are examples:

feed://feeds.latimes.com/latimes/sports/basketball/nba/lakers?format=xml

feed://news.google.com/news?pz=1&ned=us&hl=en&as_scoring=n&as_maxm=10&q=%22Phil+Jackson%22&as_qdr=d&as_drrb=q&as_mind=18&as_minm=9&as_maxd=18&output=rss

feed://www.hypnothoughts.com/forum/topic/listForContributor?user=HypnoScott&feed=yes&xn_auth=no
