kathleenjoy reported a problem in Brightkite on June 24, 2009 02:50:
Discover friends on twitterI deleted my BrightKite account yesterday because I wanted to delete all of my public check ins (I understand that they will still be cached elsewhere on the web). I signed up for a new account today using my old username, which is also my twitter username. I have connected my BrightKite account and my twitter account and set my BrightKite check ins as private. I have clicked "Discover & Invite Friends" to re-add the friends I lost when I deleted my BrightKite account. The discover friends button for twitter only finds 5 of my twitter friends, not those out of the 985 I follow on twitter who are using BrightKite. Is this a caching issue because I deleted my account? Can you help?
