As for our policies: The autonomy of the individual and personal responsibility are core elements of the mission of Ode.

We take full responsibility for our editorial and we fully trust that our readers are capable to decide for themselves which information in our magazine, including advertising, they want to use or not.

Advertising is not part of the editorial. Traditionally and ideally, they must remain separate.

Thank you for your email. I apologize on behalf of Ode for the letter that you received. We have asked the Subscriber Services company to discontinue the use of those letters due to their offensive nature and the fact that we at Ode promote positive measures rather than negative ones. We truly value our relationship with our subscribers and will continue to strive to improve our customer service practices.

You are referring to a booklet called, "The Path of Endless Creation: How to Make Dreams Come True." Inside is the subtitle: "The Power of Your Own Mind: An investigation into how our thinking shapes our lives." It was written by a former editor of Ode, Tijn Touber. These booklets were used as a bonus to subscribers who signed up for a certain subscription. The booklets are not normally sold separately, though we have had many requests. We have a limited number available for $5.00 each including shipping. If interested, please send a check or credit card number with expiration date with your request to: Ode Magazine, 35 Miller Avenue, Suite 330, Mill Valley, CA 94941.
