Katie Keenan replied on March 31, 2009 19:19 to the question "facebook posting?" in Ode Magazine:
Good question! There are two ways to post our articles to Facebook.
1) By using our social bookmarking tools. For our magazine articles, click on the Facebook button under the "Save/Share" toolbar here.

If you are sharing an Exchange or Blog post you would click on the "Bookmark" button on the right side here:

Once you click on the Facebook button, a new page will appear from Facebook asking you to preview your post. Edit as needed and then click save and the article will be posted to your Facebook wall to share with all of your friends.
2) By posting to Facebook directly. Copy the URL of the article you would like to post. Login to Facebook and on the homepage, click into the box where it says "What's on your mind." An option will drop down called "Add: Link". Click that and paste the URL into that box. It will show you a preview of what will be posted to your Facebook page. Be sure to scroll through the thumbnails they provide to post one related to the article.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks for sharing our articles!!
Katie

Please resubmit your Exchange post. I do think I remember it coming through for moderation, but it was too long. I apologize as you should have gotten a response from us about that. I suggest that you resubmit your post and be sure to keep it under 500 words, if possible. Tell us a little bit about your blog and why you think the Ode community might be interested in it. Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Katie Keenan replied on February 26, 2009 23:20 to the question "contributing to reader's blog" in Ode Magazine:
Hi Sophie - Our Readers Blog is a group blog made of Ode readers that we have invited to share their perspectives and opinions on the issues that matter to them most. If you would like to become a blogger, please send us an email at webmaster@odemagazine.com describing what you are passionate about and why you think our Ode community would enjoy your articles. We ask that you would be willing to post at least one blog a week.
If you would rather just post a story, please share it on the Exchange which is where we invite our community to share projects, events, initiatives, etc.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
Katie Keenan replied on February 16, 2009 17:08 to the problem "the links to Save the Words don't work ..." in Ode Magazine:
Hi Josephine - Thanks for notifying us about this. Unfortunately, that is the correct link http://www.savethewords.org. It looks like the site might be temporarily down because it was working a couple days ago. Check back in a day or two to see if its fixed. In the meantime, I will add a note to that page. Thanks for letting us know!
Katie
