How would this work like I lie the idea but not everyone knows how to write their own plugin but I suppose you could make it so you just click buttons to make it easier.

So what when is "lags" the whole computer slows down or just the program also does it lag when trying to do anything else or it could just be ur connection but it can be the stress on the CPU but i don't know

So you run into this problem when trying to install the latest version of BumpTop I personally have not had this problem but I have had it say to me that this is not a valid program but then i realised I was installing the one I already had but any way how many times have you tried to install this ?
are you sure you havent already installed this?
and I dont know what else but it should have everything their but if I can find anything on it I will update also have you tried emailing BumpTop and asked whats wrong?

As ads says you must sign up and get an invite code sent to you and it's not just beta their updating beta like all the time so like bumptop 14 is out and their working on bringing out 15 soon no doubt so sign u and hold on tight hope this helps.
