Readers should DEFINITELY have comment ability - on a public wiki, the "readers" level is meaningless anyway. For non-pbwiki account holder, I think it should be at the discretion of the wiki holder to turn this on or off.

By the way, if you give a look at what Google allows for it's blogs, you might get some good ideas in this area. I'm not looking for PBwiki to just take on google apps and blogs ideas en mass, but there are some good ideas there. – Kayza Zajac, on June 11, 2008 03:57

I'd definitely be willing to try it. Are there any specific things we should know about? Does the browser version make any difference? I wouldn't expect it to, but I've ceased making assumptions about things like this.

I don't want to give people access to edit pages, but I would like them to be able to add comments on the comments tab. Is this possible? I have a platinum wiki, if that helps.

I already did the upgrade - and then thought about how to get it upgraded to version 2, as most of my work is in the old wiki (and the name is more "out there" than the new one)
