If I were a platinum member and had this response I would be very disillusioned.

For one thing you could lock the pages you don't want edit access allowed on.

We as a company moved from pbwiki because of this access issue

Good luck with the work on this, it will be great when it is in place. Keep up the good work PBWiki people, I just am getting a wiki going for a nonprofit organisation in Ireland and I really appreciate the value it will bring to our work.

Thanks for your comments -- we've already begun designing the feature and plan on developing it sometime in the near future. There are so many thing's on our to-create list, but I promise we're doing everything we can to make sure you're happy with PBwiki :)

Thanks for the suggestion. Many people have suggested groups for a while, but that also brings up many un-answered questions. What kind of settings should one be able to set across groups? This is sounding very positive. Yes, the ability to delete comments. Yes, the ability to allow/disallow anonymous comments.

The ability to apply permissions to groups of users or groups of pages would be a nice-to-have.

As long as admins have the ability to delete comments, I'm not too worried about spam comments... of course, as long as the there is the ability to disable anonymous comments, the people who are willing to police their site can have the accessibility they prefer.

Thank you for the suggestions. It's possible that we'll slowly roll this out, such that only pbwiki readers can comment. Eventually, we may open this up to anonymous, non-pbwiki users as well. It's just important to keep in mind issues such as spam. (way too prevalent on wordpress blogs!)
