I believe this issue is related to the fix that was implemented for that other item.

I have created a bug report for this item so it will be fixed in the next update.

This is actually an issue with Path Finder hiding ALL applications that live in the window level that iDeskCal uses.

I have been in contact with Path Finder and they have said that their "solution" to this is the following:

Type command-J to bring up the View Options menu, you should then be able to click anywhere on your desktop to change the View Options window to the Desktop View Options version of the window.

Then click on the Set Colors button.
Then turn on (check) "Use the Finder's Desktop window level"

Now restart Path Finder.

Personally I don't think this is a very good solution.
If you would like better support for this issue I recommend emailing them at: help@cocoatech.com

Tell them that you would like to see them offer a better fix for "Covering Desktop Level Applications".

Robert, if the new version does not fix the problem could you please send a screen shot of your iDeskCal display, your iCal window, and your iDeskCal Preferences window (with the Calendars tab selected)

This will allow me to better see exactly what is happening and perhaps why.

iDeskCal does not alter your events in any way, however the latest release takes into consideration if the events have a time zone specified.

For example, if you have an event that has a time of 7pm GMT and your systems time zone is set to MST (GMT -7) then your event will show as being 12:00pm.

Are the calendars that are not showing standard iCal calendars or are the synced calendars of some type?

Perhaps Delegate calendars?

There is a bug in Apple's frameworks that does not allow 3rd party applications to properly access delegate calendars.

We have a bug report in with Apple for this issue, but it is unclear to us when they will get this resolved.

If your calendars that are not showing are not delegate calendars, any information you can give me would be helpful.

There are two ways to resize iDeskCal.
You can turn on the "Make draggable and resizeable" or you can can update the Calendar Width and Height values under the Display tab.

For a larger window height simply increase the number under Height.
