Dallas Brown set one of Dallas Brown's replies as an official response to "Resize and move setting" in HashBang Industries
Dallas Brown replied on September 04, 2009 16:46 to the question "Resize and move setting" in HashBang Industries:
This setting has been setup this way because it is not meant to stay on.
The option for draggable and resizeable changes the way iDeskCal runs to allow for the title bar and resize triangle to show.
The problem is that this makes iDeskCal no longer static on the desktop and therefore can cause issues with day to day operation.
There is also the reasoning that with the title bar showing, iDeskCal loses it's sleek display and just looks tacky without having a normal window attached.
This feature is meant to be used for quickly moving and resizing and then turned off for normal use.

Dallas Brown set one of Dallas Brown's replies as an official response to "adjusting the to do list to the height of the calendar" in HashBang Industries
Dallas Brown replied on August 14, 2009 02:12 to the problem "adjusting the to do list to the height of the calendar" in HashBang Industries:
Yea this looks to be because of the spacing like I pointed out in my image above.
If you turn on the background, at least a little it should be more obvious that, that is what is happening.
So it would be more of a feature request to have the levels the same when not using a background.
I will add this as a possible feature enhancement.

Hortencio, can you give me some information on how you messed up your mac?
You can always try deleting the program and redownloading ideskcal from the website. However depending on what got messed up, this may or may not fix anything.
For a more complete restart with iDeskCal you can try deleting the program and also the file: ~/Library/Preferences/com.hashbangind.ideskcal.plist, however this will reset all your preferences, but might give you a better chance at it working again.

Dallas Brown replied on August 09, 2009 06:29 to the problem "ToDos not showing up from Remember the Milk." in HashBang Industries:
Steve, I just tried this myself and it is working fine for me. (see image attached)
I do however have a couple of ideas of things to check to figure out why it is not working for you....
First, I noticed that when I added the webcal to iCal it gave the option in iCal to "remove to do items". Make sure you unchecked this. (If they are showing in iCal then this probably isn't the issue)
My other thought is that you do not have the new calendar selected in iDeskCal's preferences. (Even though they are just to do items, the webcal setup is still stored as a calendar, just a calendar that only has to do items)
If you are running the latest version of iDeskCal and have "All Calendars" selected, then when you add the webcal it should auto show up in iDeskCal. However if you are not running the latest version or don't have "All Calendars" selected then you will need to select it from the Preferences. (If you are not running the latest version you might need to restart the program to see it, so you might as well upgrade to the latest version to get all the new additions)
Please let me know if this solves your problem.
Thanks
