Peldi, tried no less the three different website directions to replace the icons on MAC, won't work. Probably me, no worries.

But, yes the old icon had great character. Actually the icon was a representation (a mockup) of the purpose of the program, the new icon is a literal depiction of it's purpose.

The new icon violates the driving principle of the program itself, don't interpret this literally.

OK, need to put brain cycles on something else now, but I too vote for the return of the old icon.

I've been working with Wave a lot recently and came across this demo of a new brainstorming widget. Nice little movie demo that suggests how Mockups might be embedded in this collaboration tool. If you need a Wave invite, I have an extra one.

Kidding aside, this really would be fantastic, especially in A-B type situations.

Your answer, while very polite, seems like a definite and resounding NO! you will not be creating a Google Wave version.

Can you confirm that as a direct answer?

Mockups and Google Wave

Are there any plans to have an integration with Google Wave?

Mockups is in very wide use in my company and been a wild success by all measures. I'm convinced Google Wave would be another great thing given the nature of the work within my organization. I'd like to leverage Mockups to get Wave in the door. An integration would be a great way to do that. Alas, I missed IO this year and don't have a Wave account.

Mockups and Google Wave would seem to make a nearly perfect marriage.

Community thoughts?

@Crider...while I like this idea too, especially doing just as an extra set of controls...I think you are failing to understand how passionate Peldi is about protecting the clarity of this tool. Shouting at him and using explanation points also isn't the best way to get what you want.

If you are so passionate about it...why not mock it up to show what and how you would do it instead of whining and shouting? Otherwise, go find another tool and another forum.

DUMB user error. I had disabled Windows Installer in an attempt to reduce the number of background processes. My mistake, sorry for the trouble.

Should have mentioned I have checked all the running tasks, rebooted twice and made the update the first thing I did.
