This is the same issue for me I believe. I want to swap usernames, but they're taken by me. I can triangulate the swap, but it will free up one of my usernames for a short period of time. Also, how long does it take Twitter to recognize that the username is no longer taken? For instance, if I change one username and then want my other account to take that username, can I do it immediately or how long does it take to update (minutes, hours, days, weeks, etc. to update)?

For SMS, make sure you're entering your number starting with the country code. i.e. 1-310-555-1234 for a US number or 44 778 620 7900 for a UK number.

Also, make sure that your provider enables you to receive SMS messages from 30201 if U.S or 447786207900 if outside U.S.

If you tell us what country you're in and what provider you're using we can also make sure that it's supported by our SMS Gateway Provider.

For IM, a single IM account can only be associated with a single Yammer account. If you want your IM account to be associated with the Yammer account that you're receiving the error on, then you'll need to remove it from your alternate Yammer account.

When Adobe releases Flex 4, we will have the ability to offer, cut, copy, paste, undo, and other standard keyboard and mouse gestured for editing text. Right now, you can select all, copy, paste, delete, just no undo.

2. If your number is registered in the US, send your SMS to 30201

If your number is registered outside the US, send your SMS to 447786207900

You're SMS will then be sent to the My Feed of your colleagues who follow you, as well as your networks All feed.

Yes. The deleted message disappears from everyone's feed.

This is a good suggestion. Keep in mind, you can add people to a Group without requiring that they accept the invitation.

When you create the Group enable the "Add these members without an invitation" check box.

Is it possible the message was posted to a Private Group? In that case, it wouldn't be displayed on his/her Profile page.

Once a Group has been created, there is no way change it from Public to Private or vice a versa.

You can however delete the Group and recreate it.

That's right. The to:username command works for sending private messages, no matter what medium you use to post the message.
