Well, I discovered a fix of this to a point. I'm using MovableType, so I simply changed where the ID Javascript appeared and hard-coded the idcomments_post_url to the entry's link (in MovableType accessible as <$mt:EntryLink$>) but I really think ID should be able to handle this natively.

UTM link descriptors break comments?

It seems that if you use UTM links (for example with Google Analytics) to track where a visitor came from or to track ad-campaigns, this confuses ID. For example, if you go to http://kellyreardon.dyndns.org/kelly/... there is a test comment there from me, but if you go to http://kellyreardon.dyndns.org/kelly/... (a link from a tweet with the link) the comment doesn't show up. This is a deal breaker if it isn't a known issue...
