Kenley Neufeld set one of Kenley Neufeld's replies as an official response to "full text" in Luria Library
Kenley Neufeld replied on October 25, 2009 00:05 to the question "full text" in Luria Library:
Yes, I see that we do have this title in full text except for the most current year.
I'm not sure why think automatic linking isn't functioning correctly, and I apologize, but if you write down the entire citation (author, article title, page, volume, issue, etc.) and then go to our Interlibrary Loan Form then you can submit it using this method.
I hope this works for you.

Kenley Neufeld replied on September 15, 2009 05:07 to the question "ebsco host" in Luria Library:
Hi Myanna,
In some cases (about 35%), the full text to an article in EbscoHost is not available in full text. If this is the case, there should be a link to try one of our other databases or to search the library print holdings.
If you post back the citation, I can verify the availability in your case.
Either way, you can always request articles through interlibrary loan when it isn't available online or in the library.
Let me know if you have want me to check your title.
Kenley Neufeld set one of Kenley Neufeld's replies as an official response to "Gluten can cause 55 diseases" in Luria Library
Kenley Neufeld replied on September 02, 2009 18:27 to the question "Gluten can cause 55 diseases" in Luria Library:
Hi Lewis,
In reviewing these two sources (which are identical), the language used is "a recent review in the New England Journal of Medicine listed fifty-five diseases that can be caused by eating gluten!"
Since the author did not provide a citation, and another person asked on the blog, it could mean the author "reviewed" the NEJM and found 55 different articles that mention gluten causing disease.
My recommendation would be to try and get the author to provide the full citation. Post your question on both blogs and follow up.
If you'd like to search the New England Journal of Medicine (Pipeline account required), and there are a ton of articles that talk about gluten and disease, then I've provided the link below. When you get to the page, look on the right for "Search within this Publication"
I hope this helps.
Kenley Neufeld set one of Kenley Neufeld's replies as an official response to "Accessing eReserve Collection" in Luria Library
Kenley Neufeld replied on September 02, 2009 03:41 to the problem "Accessing eReserve Collection" in Luria Library:
Thanks for the question. Typically, we do not include the first name of faculty. For most faculty, doing a simple search on last name will bring up the results. In this case, adding the course code and number (Eng 110) will narrow the search for a better result. If you know the title, as you did in this case, a simple search for title with Barber brings it right up.
Yet another option is to click on the reserve tab at the top and then select eReserve link. This puts you in an alphabetical list of all eReserves by course code and number.
I hope this helps. Since this is brand new, we will continue to tweak and modify to improve the service.

Kenley Neufeld replied on August 29, 2009 23:59 to the praise "Qs on maintaining site" in Luria Library:
We're using Movable Type for the blog and it works very well. However, if we were starting over today then I would use WordPress. Hands down a rock solid solution.
Facebook is just another tool and environment we use to try and connect with the students and faculty. Moderate maintenance. It's great to have it push to Twitter now (new this week). We like it because we can have images and interactions with ease.
I hope this helps. Thank you for the comments.
