Hi Daniel,
I'm sorry to hear you are struggling to upload files and we would like to find out why this is happening. Please can you check the following:
1. I see you have tried with both FF and Chrome. Google Chrome is not currently a supported browser for Yola, and older versions are particularly problematic. Can you update to latest version of FF as well. Can you try IE and Safari as well.
2. What operating system are you using?
3. Check what version of Flash you have installed. In order to find out click this link. Please ensure you are using the latest version of Flash.
4. How are you connecting to the internet? (eg, from home, work, school, internet cafe etc)
5. If you have access to a different browser, computer or network environment please try to upload a file and let us know if the error still occurs or if you get a different result.
6. Please can you try logging out of your Yola account and clearing your browser's cache (this link has more information: How to clear your cache
7. Please can you make sure that your browser is set to accept cookies from Yola (this link has more information: How to accept cookies
Any additional information you can share with us will help us get to the bottom of this problem and find a solution. Thank you for working with us on this.

Are you able to edit these HTML widgets? If so, I would suggest removing the HTML code first, click ok and then try deleting the widget. If this does not work, please can you email me at support@yola.com Attention:Kershnee.

If you are looking at adding a chatroom to your site, you can use one of these options:
You can add a chatroom widgets by using the Widgetbox Gallery, this is how:
1. Drag and drop a Widgetbox Gallery widget onto your page.
2. A dialog box will open, click on the 'chat' category.
3. Choose the chatroom that you would like to use on your site.

Kershnee replied on November 10, 2009 20:34 to the question "Trying to NOT Reinvent my wheels.... copy pages from yola pages to yola pages" in Yola:
Hi Gail,
It is not possible to copy and transfer pages between yola sites. However you can use the "save as" option within the same site.
If you ever need to copy all the elements of a page, you can quickly do so using the Save As feature. Duplicating a page is also sometimes a wise action to take, before making any significant changes to it. That way you will not have lost any of your work if something goes wrong, or you simply don't like the changes you've made. You can always delete the copy, and your original page will still be there to go back to.
Here's how you do it:
1. Navigate to the page you want to copy
2. On the Yola toolbar, click on the down-arrow next to the "Save" button.
3. Choose "Save Page As"
5. The "Save Page As" dialog box will pop-up asking you to name your new page, (and give you the chance to change the page heading, and decide whether or not to include the new page in your menu).
6. Click "OK" and you're done. The newly created page will now appear up in the Page drop-down arrow of page choices, so you can go back to it again if you chose not to include it in your menu.
A comment on the question "MS Word / Excel integration?" in Yola:
Thanks for your feedback, Ruhan!! – Kershnee, on November 10, 2009 09:55
A comment on the question "MS Word / Excel integration?" in Yola:
Yes, simply use the "Paste from Word" button (first button on second row of toolbar). So, if you have content that is stored on an MS Word document that you want to add to your site, simply click on this button. A dialog box will appear. Paste your MS Word content in the dialog box and click "OK". All hidden formatting will be removed from the MS Word content. Now you can safely copy and paste this content onto your site.
Also, if you already have text on your site that has been copied and pasted from MS Word or another source, you can use the tool on the second page to rectify this - http://html101.yolasite.com/stripping.... Simply follow the instructions listed on the page. – Kershnee, on November 10, 2009 09:44
Kershnee replied on November 10, 2009 09:19 to the question "MS Word / Excel integration?" in Yola:
Hi Ruhan,
No - we strongly advise against doing this!! When you copy and paste rich text directly from MS Word (or another word processor) onto your site, this brings along a whole lot of unwanted formatting that is not web friendly and can easily break your page. It can also cause your site to show up inconsistently in different browsers. The problem might not always show up immediately, but sometimes it happens after you save and navigate to a different page or log out and log in again. To avoid display and loading issues, the best alternative is first to paste your text into NotePad (in the accessories folder of your computer) and then paste it as plain text onto your Yola page. You can then use the Yola text editor to format your text as desired.
***Please note that this would be the case with any browser-based text editor you might use, not just Yola. It is a universal website building problem.***
For more information on this, see this excellent tutorial: Tutorial
You can also use this Text Editor to format and spell check your text and strip out MS Word code. It will generate valid markup which you can safely paste into the Yola site builder.

Kershnee replied on November 10, 2009 06:37 to the question "My domain format is very different than others" in Yola:
Hi Danielle,
You and your friend have both chosen to publish your sites to a Yola subdomain. The URL of your sites will be www.mysite.yolasite.com
When you viewing the index page/home page of your site, your URL will www.mysite.yolasite.com
When viewing any other page on your site, your URL will display this page name as well. For example - If you are viewing a page called "history", the URL will be www.mysite.yolasite.com/history.php
