A comment on the idea "Filter feeds items" in Google Reader:
Couldn't explain the frustration involved with a third party doing the filtering better !
I would also add that those feeds (coming from a third party) would be updated less frequently (as GR feeds updates are correlated with the number of subscribers).
Finally many third partys will probably disapear, meaning I'll loose my precious feeds if I forgot to do a backup. It's too much hassle then because I'll have to plan an other backup. – kevin, on September 11, 2009 17:17

Remember the view for each feedToday you have two options to display feeds (full or list).
I want Google Reader to remember which view I chose for each different feed.

Filter feeds itemsI want to be able to define simple filters for RSS feeds.
Lets say I don't want items which title contains "[Dealhacker]" for the blog lifehacker.com.
I want to be able to define a filter which would be : "All items except items containing the text '[Dealhacker]' in the title".
Just as Outlook does with its filters for mail.

Allow to define when posts expire in a feedAllow to define when posts expire in a feed : I follow RSS feeds for jobs, if I don't read them for two months I don't want to see their number increase as hell.

You should care about ads having a corresponding tonePlease, at least play the awful audio ads with a corresponding music. I mean, man, if I play some calm classic music, I don't want to hear Chris cornell or whatever the fuck.
kevin reported a problem in Feedscrub on January 22, 2009 11:11:
Suppress log in but not the images !Feedscrub is a great idea in itself, GoogleReader should have a way to do that.
Anyway two problems for me :
- I shouldn't have to log into feedscrub to scrub a post. That's too painfull. Give me an unique key instead that would id me.
- Don't remove images in posts !
