2.0 is fine. And thanks for taking the feedback seriously. I appreciate it... – Kevin Stevens, on June 25, 2009 18:18
A comment on the question "Should Have the Ability To Link To Error Condition" in Balsamiq:
I'm with you on ease of use. What I had in mind (maybe I should mock it up!) was two drop downs (success link and failure link) on the toolbar for specifying links. This feature would be turned off by default and only made active if the user wants it.
And I don't want to use another program, yours is too good. – Kevin Stevens, on June 25, 2009 15:12
Kevin Stevens asked a question in Balsamiq on June 22, 2009 19:39:
Text Links Should Have Ability To Specify Landing PageUsing [Link] syntax should be extended to allow specification of landing page for link.
I suggest
[Link *page.bmml*] or some other delimiter.
Kevin Stevens asked a question in Balsamiq on June 22, 2009 19:31:
Should Have the Ability To Link To Error ConditionWhen completing the workflow for a mockup, I need to be able to visualize the error conditions as well. What I would like is to have the normal link and clicks to work as currently implemented, but when CTRL is pressed on a link, to go to an error page that I designate.
That way, when the mockup is demoed to a client or (in the usual case) given to a developer, they can walk through the entire workflow.-
Kevin Stevens started following the idea "Extend text fields to enable quick form creation" in Balsamiq.
Kevin Stevens asked a question in Balsamiq on June 22, 2009 18:59:
Should Have Library Element for Label/Text Box CombinationThis combination is so common that there should be one element that is added to a mockup rather than two. Unless, of course, there is a way to do this that I have missed.

Kevin Stevens marked one of Giacomo 'Peldi' Guilizzoni's replies in Balsamiq as useful. Giacomo 'Peldi' Guilizzoni replied to the problem "Preserve Edit State When Switching Windows".
A comment on the question "Possible to do fine-grain resizing, as with moving?" in Balsamiq:
This only works with a single item selected, when n > 1, CTRL has no effect on snapping. – Kevin Stevens, on June 11, 2009 15:08
Kevin Stevens reported a problem in Balsamiq on June 11, 2009 15:05:
Preserve Edit State When Switching WindowsWhen editing a text area and clicking to another open mockup, the entered data should be saved rather than discarded. At a minimum, state should be preserved so that re-entering the changes is not necessary.
