Woke up to a nice surprise: got all of my followers and followees are back. :)

And a nasty surprise: my Older button which started working yesterday (after more than three weeks!) stopped working again. :(

I'm giving up on Twitter. Enough is enough.

Just wanted to let you know that the problem seems to be finally fixed for me as of now. I'm back to my followers/followings PLUS the ones added in the meantime.

More restoration underway

We’re still putting follower/following relationships back into place. There will be inconsistencies over the next several hours as this restoration takes place. We will provide more updates as they become available.

Update (2:14p): we’re going into maintenance mode to speed up some of the recovery work we’re doing. We’re think the downtime will be brief.

Update (2:34p): Maintenance was only about 5 minutes. We’re still restoring data.

Update (3:36p): We believe that by around 7p Pacific around 95% of the data will be recovered.

This is extremely frustrating - many companies use Twitter to build up their channels to speaking to registered members. www.celsias.com has just lost around 65 people form its' list of followers.

This is a critical bug and only frustrates people - a large amount of effort was put into building these networks and they've been ruined by poor implementation.

Please fix this - and return all lost followers immediately.

All followers and people I'm following are STILL gone, except the few that I could track down again. Since these were fairly new friends, I don't remember how to find them all. So, while some people seem to be reporting that at least some of their folks have been restored, mine have NOT, not at all.

Is there a central location where we can get updates on this? It has now branched out into redundant discussions.

Only been a twitter member for a couple of weeks. Was following maybe 20-30 people, and had maybe 8-10 followers (of which 4 or so are maybe spammers as they didnt seem to exist anymore last time I checked, a few days ago).
As of today I'm down to 2 followers, and following 4. Are they all going to be recovered, or do I have to go around and attempt to rebuild manually? How long should I wait? It seems like it's been this way since late last night (US time).

So, it appears that some people have gotten their counts back...why some and not all? I am not happy about having to go back and re-add all my twits. Please, fix fix, fix.....
