It would be great if clients could make the window full screen (hiding taskbar/dock, etc.) so that scrolling is not required (as often).

For example, characters after a question mark (?) are ignored. I suspect other characters are not parsed correctly either. I noticed this over SMS, but other posting methods seem to have the same issue.

I have accounds for Twitter, FriendFeed, and identi.ca all open at once. Windows XP gets noticeably slower. When I hover and move the mouse over any of the Twhirl windows, the mouse is really choppy and almost unusable. Each window is very slow to respond to clicks and scrolls as well. I get roughly the same behavior on OS X 10.5.4, just not quite as bad as on Windows XP.

A comment on the problem "Twitter refuses to uphold Terms of Service" in Twitter:

How much stalking, harassment, and abuse is acceptable? And should the offending party decide such measure, or the offended? If the attack becomes physical, would you still claim "it's fortunately a pretty rare event at the moment"? I don't see how such vague community rules can maintain a healthy community. And changing the rules to make it OK to break the old rules is so very presidential I wanna puke. – kevwil, on May 23, 2008 06:08

Jeez, twitter, just Do The Right Thing already.

I'm sick of defending Twitter through all the downtime, and this is worse. There aren't any good alternatives to twitter yet (sorry Ariel) but it sounds like there are a bunch of them in the works. That VC you just got will be wasted in court if you don't man-up.
