Hi Ruth,
Thanks for your response. I am not sure how to use this? I don't know how I can re-align from the properties field.

Have you tried using the properties fields to align your widget?
You may need to experiment with the numbers to find a location that you like.

I understand your concern, but as Marije indicated, it is but a small concession for SynthaSite to host for free. Might I add that I am in the process of building my new site and I have been very impressed with your services thus far. I have done much searching for a free website host/creator that suits my needs and does not have any hidden arrangements. Thanks SynthaSite!!! Good job!!!

Hi Marije,
Thank you. I have tried using the two column widget, but I want to: a) justify the movie in either column (I'm not able to do this) and; b) I would like to add a caption on the bottom, which I cannot seem to do unless I place a text widget directly below, but there is so much space that the movie seems to take up inside its own widget.
I hope this makes sense.........please help! :-0

Thank you Monique...it worked!! However, how do I get to move the embedded movie screen around different areas, adjusting location essentially?
Thanks,

Wayne Koorts' reply to "SWF FILES!?" was just promoted to the most useful! Kevin and 2 other people think it's one of the best replies.
Hi Sebastian,
The first thing is to upload your .swf file. You can do this from the Site menu -> Manage Files.
Next, drop an HTML widget where you would like to see your Flash presentation, and paste the following HTML inside it (without the <!-- and --> lines - I just added those because GetSatisfaction tries to interpret the code):
<!--
<object width="200" height="400">
<param name="movie" value="resources/myswffile.swf">
<embed src="resources/myswffile.swf" width="200" height="400">
</embed>
</object>
-->
Then you just need to substitute "myswffile.swf" in the code above (in both places) with the name of the file you uploaded and you should see the Flash movie appear when you close the HTML widget editor. You'll need to play around with the width and height values in the text above to suit your movie's size.
Regards,
Wayne-
