It seems to be interfering with StumbleUpon. I have the same issue In Firefox 3.0.3 in Ubuntu 8.04. I disabled all my add-ons and it started working again. Added them back in one by one and it started failing when I enabled StumbleUpon. -

Nope I am still getting the same error when I run the update. -

Update - File Download ErrorH. I've just installed the client and set it up for my account etc. Then I went to Check for Updates and the download got about half way through before crashing with a File Download Error. The following was in the log file:
Downloading files
No. file requests: 1
Download file: RescueTime.exe, 184320
The server call succeeded, but the file is either corrupt or the server does not permit this file to be downloaded. Ensure you can retreive the file by typing its URL directly into your browser. Check log for file dump to diagnose error.
