XMPP (and possibly other IM interfaces?) have been off the air since the 23rd of May.

Twitter's faultly XMPP/Jabber/GTalk interface. Can't authorize!I can't authenticate twitter in google talk. I've added twitter@twitter.com via the Gmail interface, Pidgin, and chat/contacts (on nokia n810). when I try messaging twitter the code, I get no response, twitter is "not authorized". I have tried sending verification multiple times, and "deleting and starting over", but it doesn't work at all. It had worked fine up until late may. I do NOT have a google apps server, so that is not the issue here. I have tried via MANY (~20) different ISPs by using wifi connection, so my ISP isn't to blame, this appears to be an issue with twitter's XMPP/GTalk/Jabber service. Perhaps they should have multiple accounts "twitter01@twitter.com", "twitter02@twitter.com", etc?
