Add a "Block" and "Follow Back" link in e-mail notificationsThis is something of an idea I got from WordPress: When an e-mail is sent to me notifying me that someone has started to follow me, give me two links in my message that will allow me to either block the person or follow them.
This is similar to WordPress moderation notifications of comments on my blog which gives me the options to approve the comment, delete it, or mark it as spam. Perhaps Twitter ought to think of doing the same thing? (I think LiveJournal has something like this too)

Kichigai replied on June 17, 2009 17:50 to the idea "twitter must preview all urls for users to avoid malware." in Twitter:
Twitter doesn't have to do this at all. The onus is on the URL shorteners. In fact, many offer a preview option, including TinyURL and TinyArro.ws (I think Bit.ly offers it too).
Twitter probably can't preview the long URL in the status bar, because that would require them going through every short URL posted and pulling out the destination URL. They have enough trouble keeping the system running as it is, adding more load would probably break the service, and also circumvent services like bit.ly, owl.ly and the DiggBar which offer stat tracking.
If you want to get around all this and not rely on other people to do the right thing, get FireFox and install PowerTwitter, which will tell you where a short URL goes and inserts images into your feed. If you don't like using your browser, check out Tweetie for Mac OS X, which shows you a window of the full URL of any shortened URL when you click on them.

Unknown TwitPic Error in TG 1.0.8When ever I try and upload a picture, the image upload 100%, then the machine hangs, hourglasses a couple times, and eventually pops up a posting bubble with the phrase "Unknown TwitPic Error!"
This happens regardless of if I'm on EDGE or WiFi.
I'm using a BlackBerry Curve 8900 on T-Mobile's network.-

TwitGoo, Y-Frog and Posterous (perhaps more?) supportWhy not add support for TwitGoo, Y-Frog and Posterous? TwitPic is the most popular Twitter-centric picture sharing service out there, but being that it (like Twitter) often falls apart under stress. Because of this, I have my Twitter clients (Tweetie for Mac and Gravity for S60) set to use TwitGoo, though Y-Frog is gaining in popularity, so I don't have to worry as to whether or not TwitPic is up or not: I'm using a different service. And if TwitGoo goes down, I have at least two more services available.
