This is such a pain in the ass for me, because all my friends are on Verizon, and they're all adults, but they can't send messages to BrightKite, though "PixMessage" (Verizon's MMS equivalent) can go to e-mail addresses, they can't set subject lines. Here's hoping Verizon gets off its ass and does something (one big reason I never want to use Verizon).

Sounds like a problem with GetSatisfaction, not so much BrightKite. Of course, using OpenID is pretty easy. Click, enter one thing, approve, then if you have a "auto-entry" thing on your browser, it's just "click" from then on out.
