Pendolino: I am fond of saying "when in doubt just right click". Hopefully you have found this wonderful functionality. When you are on a form and you want to insert a new field or edit and existing or maybe remove a field or move it around on the form, just right click over the field name and select the option you want. The same thing applies when you are looking at a report. Either click the header and drag left/right or click the header and right click. You can do almost anything with right click. If you haven't already attended one of my webinars, you have a standing invitation. We have 10 live and interactive webinars each week.

Pendolino: You can request to have a developer contact you at:

Kirk Trachy replied on March 08, 2009 21:26 to the question "Does Quickbase allow attachment export? (documents, etc)" in Intuit QuickBase:
Pendolino: If you don't want to use our "QuickBase Desktop" tool then you might look at an ODBC connector that Claude von Roesgen has put together. You can find out more information about this at http://qunect.com. You can get a free trial of it on his website. By the way Claude is one of the original people that designed QuickBase. He is now on his own making cool tools that work with QuickBase. Great guy. Tell him I said hi. Kirk Trachy

Hi Pendolino: I work with QuickBase. Yes you can export your data including all your file attachments. QuickBase has a utility that sychronizes with a Microsoft Access database. Check out our Knowledgebase at: https://www.quickbase.com/db/6mztyxu8?a=dr&rid=52
You are also welcome to pop into any of our 10 webinars each week. Five of the webinars are introductory and the other five allow us to drill down into things like this in an open Q&A / "Show and Tell" type of forum. You can see our webinar listing at: http://quickbase.intuit.com/webinars/
Best of luck! Kirk Trachy
