The problem was created when I was tightening the ball head. When I was tightening it it suddenly became loose (the threading wore off) and the entire piece fell off.

My Joby Ball Head is broken. The threading for the tightening screw was shoddy. It broke on me the first use. Is this under warranty and how can I get a replacement?
