This was solved for me awhile back & I am not aware of it reappearing
(Last time it seemed to have been due to security updates -- ie. peers protected feed showing up for you & THE WORLD to see thus they didn't want to create new ones in the middle of a fix. but I'm just the original poster not a staffer. ;-)

Xingkit, sorry for the delay in responding. Sometimes when twitter's API server goes down we get that response. We're working on offering better error handling so you all know exactly whats up.

I tried clearing the cache and restarting firefox. Now it gives me an invalid ID/password notification. I logged in to twitter and got in.

Hi Kitten Girl,
We just released a number of behind the scenes fixes/updates. Clear your browser cache, and try it again. This should have been resolved. I was getting the same issue on the last ff2.x now its gone.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled twitbin twice but I still get the same response.
