Oh, perhaps I should have downloaded the SWF file with the online viewer. That might have been cleverer and lighter. :)

I actually downloaded the AIR file so that they could install that viewer, and it does update automatically when they open it, but it sounds like the FBP file needs to also be the latest.

The main thing I'm trying to work around is sending clients to a separate site or location to get the viewer or asking them to read up on how to interpret the file, since that pretty much stops them from accessing it.

I have a project that I hadn't opened for a while. When I went in and needed to make a change, all the fonts converted. I changed them back to Verdana, but the bounding boxes around them all needed to be adjusted...all 35 pgs worth. :-(

Nothing to do but re-align widgets and resize all the boxes around the text. This makes me wish the default for the new font capabilities was not to change old/existing files globally...

Also, the font changing control does not show the entire font name, and could be wider. :)

I'm trying to make it easy on my clients when it comes to viewing fbp files, and am storing the viewer with the project file.

Would it be possible to make the viewer smart enough to recognize if they are running it with an fbp nestled in the same folder-- and have the Open/Browse dialog dropdown default to that location instead of the last opened project?

There are folks I share multiple projects with, and it's always a surprise when the viewer goes to the last project rather than the one in the same folder (since I tend to bundle it with ALL my projects, to make viewing as easy as possible).

Yes, it's working great. Also-- I LOVE the changes to the image component. Having the images appear at the correct size, and being able to paste from the clipboard are the most awesome new things I have discovered today!! :) Thank you!

Not sure what that would mean... I guess what I am imagining is that if there are any objects anywhere on the page, it would expand or shrink to fit those objects.

This helps when I've dragged something off the edge of my canvas and lost it, or resized it and lost it without realizing it. It also helps to autosize the page so there's less guesswork when I bring in large graphics.

Master pages could complicate things a little. But perhaps pages that use masters are already autosized for their contents.

I know this diagram is pretty generic. The concept was supposed to indicate a page flow diagram -- which would typically have a ton more information in it. It may even be the subsections on only one given page, rather than the flow of many pages, depending on the diagram.

I've been using for Maximize ("application") and Close ("cross") are in the icon component, but there's no minimize. Here's a minimize, though the style may need improving.

A trio would be nice. The one attached is windows style trio, but there are lots of nice alternatives of course. :)

Sometimes I put a lot of info into the callouts, and have to hover, then rehover, then rehover to allow data to be read. I wish the callouts were a little more flexible, and that if your mouse was sitting on them they stayed open. If you moused completely off then they timed out.

Okay, just lost an entire folder and I saw exactly what happened.

It was first in a stack, and I wanted to drag it to the bottom so it would be my LAST folder. I pulled it down into the gray area at the bottom of the panel and it totally disappeared.

I did not see the black (placement indicator) bar appear when I dragged it down-- I think I moved too quickly or pulled it too far down and suddenly it was gone. The same master contents were still available in the pulldown though the entire folder was gone, as before.

FB had been open for a little while, and the version was unsaved.
When I closed and then reloaded, I was able to restore all contents.

It would be nice to have a keyboard shortcut and/or menu command that sizes the canvas to the contents.

Some programs do this with Ctrl + Alt + F.

I can't reproduce this, and wish I knew what I just did. If it happens again I will report more details-- but for now what I can describe is that a page VANISHED completely when I was trying to drag it into a different folder.

I thought all the page contents were gone, only to find it was still listed as an option in the master pulldown. The name is also still reserved, but I am unable to find or access the page.
