Twitter seems to have a help page now that is addressing this issue. Check out this link.
http://snurl.com/rh4kt
They ask you to post the comments with the following information:
1. List how many tweets you think your account should have. (No need to be super specific with this number. We're looking for a ballpark guess.)
2. Has the number been jumping around or is it staying consistent after having changed?
3. When did your count change?
4, What is your user name?
I've posted my info, but am still waiting for a fix.
kmeelyon asked a question in Twitter on August 29, 2009 10:03:
Missing tweetsAs of about three weeks ago, my tweet count went from over 2000 to 48. I thought it was a little bug that would soon be fixed, but it seems I've (permanently?) lost over 2000 tweets. They are just gone. I'd like to know if they will be restored. There was a lot of history there that I'd like to have access to.
kmeelyon replied on July 04, 2009 20:39 to the question "CAN NO LONGER LOG INTO BLOG, NEED TO DELETE" in Blogger:
I have this same problem. I've been trying to resolve it since February to no avail.
I'm trying to get access to an old Blogger account from when I had an
email address w/pacbell. I want to delete the blog and I can't recall
the password. When I click through the help links, it keeps saying
it's sent my password to the pacbell address. I no longer have an email account with pacbell so this does not help me in any way. Blogger has connected my gmail account to a new blogger account, but the blog I want to delete is not available.
There should be a system to obtain information if you've changed email addresses, but there seems to be none.
All other click-through links to obtain email support send me on an endless loop back to the help forums or a page that says that the only help they have available is in English, French, Italian, or Portuguese. Clearly, a broken page as I'm not speaking another language.
I've tried emailing google directly, I get no reply.
This has been beyond frustrating. Broken links to help and endless re-routing to the page I start from.

Ooops! I forgot to follow up on my own thread. It's amazing how your anger can just melt away when you get some help and you can forget to come back. The customer support I eventually got from Roxio was exactly what I'd hoped for. They completely refunded me for the product I got (when I finally opened it, I had the Windows version), and gave me a key to download the Mac version for free (I was a prior purchaser of the product). They also gave me extra keys ot make a backup and put a copy on my desktop computer. There were a couple of other glitches, but they were very responsive, and within a week it was all resolved. They were incredibly kind and helpful and in the end, and I got exactly what I wanted. My big complaint is that it took way too long to get this help. But I'm pleased with the outcome. I hope they can work on their response time.

I finally wound up fixing this issue. But it wound up not having to do with my iphone at all. My desktop computer started going other buggy things and I brought it into the Apple store. They wound up doing a clean install for me and after that, iPhoto saw the phone again and it was resolved. So make sure to check that it's not a problem with your computer....it can be easy to assume the problem is with the phone.

Update: I finally heard back from Roxio customer support (via email) on 9/11/08. It took them 18 days to respond to my customer support ticket. I was really irritated that it took my request that long to receive a reply. Not sure yet if we will resolve the problem. I am asking for the ability to download my already purchased software or to get a refund.
kmeelyon reported a problem in Roxio on September 03, 2008 23:16:
Toast Titanium Upgrade FAIL. Customer Support Will Not Respond. On August 25th, I tried to use my Toast Titanium 8.0 to burn something to disc that I wanted to share with someone, and was encouraged to update my software. I went to the Roxio site, and downloaded the 8 updater for Mac. When installing, I got an error message. Since then, when I try to open Toast, nothing happens. When I try to re-install Toast 8 Titanium, it says I do not have sufficient privileges to drag the item to the applications folder. So now I am completely frozen out of Toast.
What makes this more maddening is that I asked for help with Roxann, the customer support widget on the Roxio site. I was encouraged to fill out a ticket and informed that I should hear back in about a day. I filled out my ticket on 8/25/08 and got an email reply from a "no reply" email address giving me a service number and saying I would hear back "soon." I have heard nothing since then. I even filled out an update several days later on the site politely asking when "soon," would be and asking if I may have been forgotten.
It's now nine days later and still no reply. As someone who purchased the Toast software, I find it particularly troublesome to experience this low a level of customer care.

For some reason, in the past two weeks, iPhoto stopped opening up when I connect my iPhone to my computer. It does open up itunes and synch my phone, but even when I open iPhoto, I cannot find my iPhone and can't seem to import my photos.
I have tried what @roadstar recommends, opening Image Capture, but Image Capture also does not see my iphone. It only shows my scanner.
What's the deal? I have about 60 photos I want to put on my computer. Anyone else suddenly start having this problem?-

A comment on the problem "AT&T no signal in my home." in AT&T:
@Kimberly, yeah, my problem is still unresolved. And it is just as you say, all my friends with AT&T can't use their phones in my house. I'm generally happy with the iphone outside of my house, but at this point, unfortunately, I've given up on AT&T fixing this problem. – kmeelyon, on September 01, 2008 22:14

Ha! Awesome. I will not only take care of this myself, this week, but I'll use the stickers my building owner left me to use when I fill out the forms! Thanks! – kmeelyon, on May 14, 2008 01:23

I am completely with you on this, Cameron. I usually subscribe to my twitter pals' RSS fees for their blogs and their flickrstreams, as well. So I don't need triple notification for every online action they take. – kmeelyon, on May 09, 2008 01:26

AT&T no signal in my home.Since converting from my Treo (on Verizon) to my AT&T iphone, I cannot use my cellphone in my house. There is one spot in my house in which I get good reception, but it is quite inconvenient to have to take or make every call while standing in one spot. My cellphone signal is pretty good in other places, but it really sucks to have invested in an iphone and not to be actually able to use it as a phone in my house.
This actually goes beyond inconvenience at times when I'm on-call and need to be accessible in an emergency. I am hoping it can be resolved soon.
kmeelyon replied on May 09, 2008 01:01 to the question "How can I stop the delivery of mail for old residents at my current address?" in USPS:
One thing that my apartment owner did that was kind of helpful is he provided me with pre-printed "please forward to this address" labels for the former tenants who were still receiving mail here. It made it really easy for me to just paste on the label with the new address and pop important-looking things back in the mail. That said, it certainly doesn't stop the new mail from coming. I do think that Greendimes (as Katie posted) has also limited the junk mail. But I do occasionally get stuff for the old tenants.
