A comment on the idea "Deferred posting" in Posterous:
That's already possible. Go to any post, click 'Edit' and then 'More post editing options »' at the bottom. You can change the date there.
Or is that not what you meant? – Willem, on November 24, 2009 17:49-

Deferred postingI would like to have the option to create posts that become public at a set date and time in the future. They would be private posts before that time.
This would make it possible to prepare blog posts that will be posted while you are on vacation or otherwise unable to get to an internet-enabled computer.
On the "Editing a post" page, when you click "More post editing options »" there could be something like "[check-box] Publicise this post on [date-field]".
(If you are implementing this, don't forget to change the display date to the post date at the moment that the blog post is publicised.)

Auto-embed support for YouTube playlistsIt would be great if you could paste the URL of a YouTube playlist in your post and it would be automatically embedded, just like normal YouTube videos.
Here's an example of a playlist URL:
http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list...
And what it looks like when embedded:

Listing unconfirmed missionsOn the "My Missions" page, I'd love to see the option to show unconfirmed missions only.
That includes both missions that have been played forward to me but I forgot to confirm and missions that I played forward but weren't confirmed by the recipient.
This would make it easier to keep track of "forgotten" missions.

Search omits results? When I search my blog for "cat", I only get one result instead of two.
Search: http://knuffelsmurf.posterous.com/?so...
Returned result: http://knuffelsmurf.posterous.com/sun...
Omitted result: http://knuffelsmurf.posterous.com/sun...

Guest User plays a mission forward to herselfI have no idea how this happened, but when a friend confirmed one of my missions and added a comment, it now looks like she played the mission forward to herself and the comment was added to the new mission.

What went wrong? Can you fix it?

Ok, I figured that was what happened to the date. I just thought I'd bring it up to be sure. :)

"Top players this week"On http://akoha.com/rankings/ "Top players this week" seems to be basically the same as the Karma leader board.
Shouldn't it only take into account Karma that was awarded in the last 7 days? At least, that's how I interpret the title. Or am I missing something?
Willem asked a question in Akoha on February 24, 2009 01:16:
The new Play a Card pageI have to say, the new Play a Card page is a major improvement. It is now very clear where Karma comes from. And there's a link to the .pdf as well! Great job, you guys (and girls)!
Question: Did you remove the ability to enter a date on purpose? I wanted to enter the mission details for a couple of missions I played last week, but the calendar's gone.
Remark: The Google Maps Karma points turn green when I click "Map it!". Shouldn't this only happen after I click "Confirm location"?
Willem replied on February 06, 2009 00:52 to the problem "Mission text doesn't wrap for printed cards." in Akoha:
Am I correct in thinking this didn't use to happen? I'm pretty sure my first three "Give a handmade surprise" cards were fine. In fact, look at this card by janafalls: http://akoha.com/site_media/images/20...
When I print a card now, it says "Give a handmade surpr...". What changed?
Other missions affected are "Invite someone for a (dance)" and "Teach someone a forei(gn word)".
I hope this gets fixed soon. It's very annoying.

Heart notificationsShouldn't I somehow be notified when someone "hearts" one of my missions?

Willem replied on February 04, 2009 13:43 to the idea "Giving Levels Significance" in Akoha:
What I've learnt from other websites is: people like customisation. They want their profile page to reflect their personality.
I would suggest to gradually give more options of profile customisation as players level up. Don't get me wrong though: do keep it subtle. I don't want Akoha to turn into another MySpace with 7 videos and 9 songs playing at once over an animated background. :p
For example: at level 4 you could get the option choose between a number of preset colour schemes. At level 8 people could choose from a set of backgrounds (I'm thinking of the subtle abstract backgrounds Pownce used to have). At level 12 they can choose their own colours. At level 15 you get to upload your own background image.
I do believe people would really like this. Plus: it would encourage them to return to the site, and thus to the game.
