Password for APN: CINGULAR1
APN: isp.cingular
Left Username for APN and Password for APN blank.

Dmitriy Kornilov replied on May 05, 2009 19:04 to the question "Qik stops streaming on BB Curve; problems with 3GP, too" in Qik:
Kevin, you are welcome.
Actually, the video is under your profile, but it is displayed like it was posted under DimaKornilov profile because of web-server cache. You need to wait until the cache is updated. It should happen soon, no action is required from your side. Thank you for patience.
Video and audio data in the file is okay. But meta-data (also known as moov box) is missing. This meta-data is used by all 3gp players. If it is missing, 3gp players do not know how to play this file. In normal circumstances when you stop recording, Camera application appends moov box to the file and updates file header. It didn't happen in your case, and as result the video is not playable. Qik client was not aware about such situations and failed to stream this video. This fix will be included in the next build.

Thank you for providing this video to us.
http://qik.com/video/1612763 - this is your video on Qik (36 min)
Some video and audio corruption appears in the video from time to time. These distortions are caused by both client and server issues. We are looking into it.
Dmitriy Kornilov replied on May 04, 2009 11:24 to the question "Qik stops streaming on BB Curve; problems with 3GP, too" in Qik:
Kevin,
If Video Camera application hangs, it can not re-encode the video file. This is why it is not viewed in any 3gp players. Please send your video file to blackberry@qik.com, I will try to convert it manually and upload it to your profile if it is possible. We also should detect and handle events like this in future versions.
Thank you.
A comment on the question "APN Settings Required" in Qik:
Barb,
For Verizon you do not need APN. APN is related only to GPRS / EDGE or UMTS networks.
Select "Use CDMA network" in Qik Settings and connection should be established.

There was an issue with downloading that is now fixed.
Please try again to download from http://d.qik.com
Dmitriy Kornilov replied on April 16, 2009 12:05 to the question "BB 8350i support" in Qik:
Sorry for inconvenience,
0.1.8 does not support Wi-Fi selection and live streaming, because 8350i was recognized as 8300.
0.1.9 should fix these issues and device detection works fine. Please give it a try: http://qik.com/dl/362
We would like to get log files (they are located on SD card in folder BlackBerry). Please zip them and send to blackberry@qik.com
Thank you for understanding. Hopefully, one day we will support 8350i officially with your help.
A comment on the problem "blackberry storm cannot live stream" in Qik:
Hi Kent,
Alpha version of Qik for Storm does not compress media, so live is not possible at this moment. Bitrate of video is much bigger than network bandwidth :(
We plan to compress video in future versions. – Dmitriy Kornilov, on April 16, 2009 07:59

Guys,
there is a test build http://qik.com/dl/355 (v0.1.8) that should support BlackBerry 8350i
It should work with Wi-Fi and iDEN networks.
If you want, give it a try and send feedback to blackberry@qik.com
