It is okay now to re-install Qik.
OS .85 is now supported.
Feel free to write to blackberry@qik.com if you encounter a bug or abnormal behavior.
BTW, download link is the same. – Dmitriy Kornilov, on April 07, 2009 15:07

@Brian B, it is very strange: in logs I see that you are running version BlackBerry client v0.0.6. Could you please completely erase Qik from your Storm and re-install Qik from http://qik.com/dl/298 ? Also, you may need to clean up browser cache on the handheld.
In Qik About menu you should see that you are on v0.0.10. – Dmitriy Kornilov, on April 07, 2009 12:05

@Brian B, have you reinstalled Qik after OS upgrading from http://qik.com/dl/298 ?
We added support for recent firmwares with resolution 480x352 few weeks ago.
I need to know, if OS 4.7.0.85 (mentioned by Brian) also records video in 480x352 or in some another resolution. – Dmitriy Kornilov, on April 07, 2009 10:40

For version 0.0.10 you have two choice.
Either have a Media Card inserted and store videos to Media card,
or remove Media Card and store videos in Device memory.
This is a known issue and it will be fixed in upcoming build. – Dmitriy Kornilov, on April 07, 2009 08:40

This may be related to OS version.
Brian, could you please go to Video Camera Options and tell me Video format selected. It should be Standard, but I need to know video resolution. – Dmitriy Kornilov, on April 07, 2009 08:37

First of all sorry for the delay.
Please make sure that APN settings are correct. Please provide the following information:
1) Which APN settings are in Options -> Advanced Options -> TCP/IP?
2) Which APN settings are in Qik Setup page?
I can suggest you to try to use any of following APN settings (you may need to enter them in Qik Setup page).
If you are in UK try this:
APN: general.t-mobile.uk
Username for APN: user
Password for APN: wap
If you are in USA try these:
1) APN: internet3.voicestream.com
2) APN: internet2.voicestream.com
3) APN: internet1.voicestream.com
4) APN: wap.voicestream.com
Username and password for APN should be blank.
Hope this helps.
Dmitriy Kornilov replied on March 23, 2009 09:08 to the problem "K850i problems, stream freezes, corrupt videos, not-quite-live" in Qik:
Hi All,
Recording breaks every 10 seconds are known issue. It can not be avoided, because we do not have access to raw video data on J2ME phones, there are no such API. This is a platform limitation. We have to stop recording every 10 seconds, only after that we could have access to the video portion recorded by device and then we upload it to our server. So you should expect to see delay of 10 seconds as a minimum.
We are constantly looking on how to improve this situation.

Dmitriy Kornilov replied on March 17, 2009 13:48 to the question ""Application not supported" on my Nokia 6555." in Qik:
Sorry, but there is no possibility at this moment to start Qik on AT&T/Cingular branded phone. AT&T/Cingular requires a specific certification from AT&T.
For correct execution, Qik needs access to file system and socket connection - these permissions are denied for all third party signed midlets and for untrusted midlets by AT&T.

One of possible solutions is to unbrand your Nokia 6555.

Let's shed some light on this. I'm not sure what the root case is at this moment.
Please try to install unsigned version of the application on Nokia 6555. Tell me please if error message is shown or not.
