From Qik for BB v0.0.4, if connection is lost during streaming, the rest of video will be uploaded after network connection restored.

Are you using Wi-Fi or cellular operator network?

If you are on GSM / 3G please check that APN settings are correct:
Options -> Advanced Options -> TCP

You can receive operator settings from your operator or check this discussion for most popular networks:

Qik requires OSv4.5 to work on your Curve.
What OS do you have installed?

You can check it in Options -> About menu.

Can you please describe step-by-step your actions that lead to device restarting? Does it display any messages? Are you using WiFi or GSM connection?

We support OS v4.5 for Curves & Pearls and OS v.4.6 for Bold at the moment.

Are you using the device that is connected to corporate network? There's a chance that your corporation's IT policy is applied to your device and blocks some permissions.

Currently Qik doesn't support BES/MDS. We are working hard to support this type of connection soon.
