I'd also be willing to pay a monthly fee for Sandy's services. I've pretty much moved over to RTM but would be more than willing to come back to Sandy if she were re instituted instead of burying her code base down in Twitter's bowels.

Reqall looks like a contender for sure. One thing I noticed which I may have missed, of course, is that it doesn't seem to allow for recurring tasks, i.e. weekly, for example. I didn't see anything about this on their help page nor could I find a discussion forum/community (something I feel is vital). – korym, on November 28, 2008 14:11

Great thread, thx. I was using RTM prior to Sandy but found it very cryptic and a bit of "overkill" for my needs. I tried GoPingMe yesterday but it can't handle notes which doesn't work very well for projects, IMHO. I'm leaning towards Todoist but am on the fence about paying $3 per month to be reminded via Twitter. Very small price, yes, but I would prefer to at least test the service prior to committing.

Here's an update: seems like Sandy is confirming when tasks are done via Twitter, however, when I log in to the website, the tasks are still listed at outstanding. I'm sure there's an expected delay between Sandy and Twitter but am curious to know when, if at all, the tasks will actually be checked off.

I know Twitter uses the hash for it's communique but, according to Sandy's help pages, @ is okay. Haven't heard from Sandy so don't know, of course.

Can't update Sandy via Twitter

Howdy all. Sandy seems to be having inconsistent Twitter issues. I'm getting the reminders to Twitter from Sandy, however, I'm unable to update them, i.e. perform the command, for example: "d s update #98 @done" via neither my phone nor Twitter's web interface. I'm having to manually log in to Sandy's website to check them off.

Would really appreciate any help with this as I heavily rely on Twitter via my cell phone to update Sandy.

Would be happy to provide any additional info you might need.

FWIW, I'm randomly getting Sandy via Twitter but if I try to update Sandy via Twitter the updates aren't happening.
