i signed up in amsterdam, now switched to berlin on the site. each time i use the android app it changes city back to amsterdam.

you should use the common
l:venue, (street), city:
syntax to let people checkin via twitter if they connected the account and are following you.
-may also work with dm only and you retweet it for them via their oauthed account
-may also work with #fs or #42 tagged tweets only, then even without the l:: (i love the idea of #42 being the foursquare hashtag)

i think its a awesome idea to have those two:

- filter the timeline to view only tweets with a certain string (e.g "http://" or "foobar")

AND

- a blacklist to hide tweets with specific strings (e.g "#spymaster" or "cat")
