This was the first thread I came across about client filters, so even though it's a little old, I hope it's still valid.
I think that clients do need to be able to save filters. The sidebar titled "My Filters", and the fact that a client can create filters, implies that they can be saved for later use. I know that during my testing, when logged in as a client, I found it annoying that I had to keep re-creating filters.
In one of Sarat's replies he said the client interface has been a neglected due to lack of demand. This is understandable, but having a client interface is a key feature that attracted me to Fixx in the first place.
There are a many issue managers out there, but few have a decent client interface/portal. IMO, such an interface is key to good communication between a business and their clients.-
