So when you right click and try to create a new sticky note it says you need to go pro?

I assume you are trying to change the font of the file names? If you go to settings -> Theme you can see the font there. It is at the bottom.

When you opened any explorer window it would open up as a mini bumptop window but without walls.

Sorry but we have actually removed the feature "Bump This Folder!" for the time being. We are currently going back and looking at a better way to implement it.

I suggest you go to the download page and download the latest version of BumpTop for the time being. You won't have bump this folder but BumpTop should be a lot more stable.

Okay, to solve this problem is a bit more complicated. You need to modify the text in a specific file.

If you are on Windows XP do the following
1) Open My Computer
2) Navigate to C: -> Documents and Settings -> Your User Name -> Application Data -> Bump Technologies, Inc -> BumpTop -> Themes -> Default
e.g.
C:\Documents and Settings\bumptop\Application Data\Bump Technologies, Inc\BumpTop\Themes\Default
3) Right click the theme.json file and click Edit
4) This should open the file in a text editor like NotePad.
5) Scroll down this file until you see

"font" : {// NOTE: the font alpha is determined by the animated alpha

// of the message for now (it is ignored)

"color" : [ 255, 255, 255, 0 ],
"family" : [FONT NAME],

6) Change the line
"family" : [FONT NAME], (In your case you will probably see wingdings instead of FONT NAME)
to
"family" : [ "Calibri Bold", "Tahoma", "Arial" ],

If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7 do the following
1) Open My Computer
2) Navigate to C: -> Users -> Your User Name -> AppData -> Bump Technologies, Inc -> BumpTop -> Themes -> Default
e.g.
C:\Users\BumpTop\AppData\Roaming\Bump Technologies, Inc\BumpTop\Themes\Default
Then follow the same step 3, 4, 5, and 6 from above.

Hopefully this fixes the problem.

Hi ddd42, do you think you launch BumpTop, click the desktop and then hit

CTRL , (CTRL and the comma key)

That will bring up the Settings window. Go to the Theme's tab and then change the "Font Override" to something else.

I have mine currently set to Candara bold 12pt.
