Any time anyone calls the Snapvine number, we have a record of activity. Whether they decide to sign up and include their name, pic, and other content, is up to them. Of course, we hope they will!

Browsers: Internet Explorer 6 and newer, Firefox 1.5 and newer

All cookies must be enabled

If recording by phone, make sure to press any key when you’re done talking, then press “1” to save. Then you can hang up or in a few seconds the system will disconnect for you.

If recording by mic, watch the flashing dot as you’re going through the process. It will flash yellow when it’s ready for you to record. Then while you’re recording it will flash green saying “recording.” After you click the “stop” button, the green flashing dot will say “saving” so make sure you wait till it says “success” before proceeding.

I don’t remember if Facebook allows html and flash widgets, but if you find out they do, you can always add our widget to your page by going to www.snapvine.com/widgets.

Right now, we're not in the midst of making changes to the site, but I'll definitely pass on your suggestions about the skins for future reference. However, the number you call to record or listen to voice comments may be a long distance number, and your phone company may charge you for that call. If you don't see your country, try calling a few different call-in numbers in nearby countries. Most likely, the caller ID will work in one of these countries, and you'll be good to go. And check again soon, since we will be adding more countries in the near future. If you want to avoid charges from your phone company all together, you can just record by your computer’s microphone.

It might be the dialing preference set on your account. For example, if your dialing preference is the United States, your phone numbers will be formatted like U.S. numbers. To check what yours is set to, log into Snapvine, then click on Account and then Dialing Preference.

Also keep in mind Snapvine does not charge you anything to use our service, in any country. Hi Sienna. That’s happened to me a few times too. I think it’s happening when you enter the code too quickly or before the recording finishes asking you to do so. I usually just wait a few seconds and try the 4 digit temp code again slower and it’s always worked for me (just don’t wait longer than 2 min cause that’s when the temp code expires). If that doesn’t work for you, let me know and I’ll look into it further.

Our widgets can be posted anywhere Flash and html widgest are allowed. Most (if not all) emails don't allow flash and html widgets, so what you can do instead is put a link to your audio inside the email. Then your friends can go to Snapvine to listen to it.
