No problem! I also just wanted to give you some more information, for your reference.
When you upload an HD video that is 1280x720, we encode it in those exct specifications. However, our HD Player is 960x540, to accommodate the max size of most computer screens. When you play that true HD video in fullscreen, you will get the original 1280x720 aspect ratio.
Also, do note that the SD player is a smaller format - 640x480.
I hope this helps! I just wanted to pass along this info that I got from my engineering team. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to let us know.
Thanks!

Kristy K. replied on June 05, 2009 17:58 to the question "Motionbox. Long Term Future?" in Motionbox:
Hi Richard,
Definitely not off topic! Thanks very much for this post and we appreciate your concern.
While we can never predict the future, we are a strong company that has been growing steadily for a few years now. You'll see that in the past year alone we have implemented a number of new features and great improvements. We're considered one of the very best (if not the best) in personal video for HD quality playback and continue to strive for the best quality playback and simple, intuitive ways to upload and share video.
If something unforseen were to ever happen, we would absolutely make sure that every member had the chance to get their videos off the site. Also, please note that Premium Members can download their videos back to their own computer at any time. They are stored securely with us, but they are also there for you to have at any time!
I hope this helps answer your questions and addresses your concerns. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Also, check out an article this week about us on Mentalfloss.com which may give also give you more insight about our company: http://bit.ly/9MHdu

Hi Chris,
I'm sorry you're still having trouble. I played back this video with no problem. The only thing I noticed was some blips that I think were due to the quick camera movements. Maybe you could open this video up to the public so we can have other members tell us what they are seeing?
Also, what browser are you using? Have you tried a different browser? That could help. The system and connection requirements for HD playback are higher than those for SD playback, so keep that in mind.
Let us know if trying a different browser helps. And just in case, make sure you have the latest version of Flash on your computer. You can find it here: http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks for all your patience!

Kristy K. replied on May 13, 2009 18:58 to the question "Question about "Protected" privacy option" in Motionbox:
Hi there,
Thanks for your question! That is correct. If a video is marked Protected, all your Contacts will be able to see All your Protected videos. If you have some videos you would just like to share with specific people, I would recommend marking those Private. If you share a Private video with your friends, they will still be able to see your other Protected videos, but nobody but the people you share them with will see your Private videos.
Do keep in mind that Private links CAN be forwarded.
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
Many thanks,

Kristy K. replied on May 12, 2009 18:17 to the question "Disable "go to MOTIONBOX"" in Motionbox:
Hi there,
Thanks for your question! Currently, there is no way to disable the Motionbox link at the end of embedded videos, but this is something we are considering offering in the future. Please note that this would likely be associated with a Pro tier membership, as opposed to a Premium membership.
I hope that helps. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks!

Hi guys,
This is actually something we are working on that may be available in the not-too-distant future. We will likely offer the customization of the player colors first, followed by the ability to remove the Motionbox logo at the end. I don't have a timeframe to give you right now, but we'll definitely keep you posted.
Thanks as usual for all the comments and suggestions. If you have more, or have any other questions, let us know!

Kristy K. replied on February 19, 2009 22:27 to the question "Random image at start of video" in Motionbox:
Hi Jensen,
Unfortunately, there is no way to retroactively fix poster frames for videos that have already been uploaded. To have the poster frame be the first frame of the video, you'll need to re-upload.
I'm so sorry or the inconvenience. Please check back soon about the customized poster frames, and if you have any other questions, please let us know!
Thanks for your patience,

Hey again!
I just wanted to let you all know that for any videos uploaded going forward, the poster frame will be the first frame of your video. We're still working on letting you choose the poster frame, so we'll keep you posted.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Kristy K. replied on February 17, 2009 18:29 to the question "Random image at start of video" in Motionbox:
Hi guys,
I'm so sorry for the frustration. We'll have part of the problem resolved by the end of this week, by reverting back to the initial image as the poster frame. We're working on ways for you all to be able to choose your own poster frame for future releases, so that's coming down the pike as well.
Again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Hopefully using the initial frame will help while we figure out a longer-term solution. Let us know if you have any questions, and keep the suggestions coming.
Thanks for your patience,
Kristy K.
