Hey guys,
Thank you so much for all your comments and suggestions. I know this is something our engineering was/is thinking about, though I don't have an ETA for you just yet. But check back in, and we'll keep you posted!
Keep the suggestions coming, too. We have a post on our blog about it if you want to leave one there too! http://www.motionbox.com/content/theb...
Thanks again,

Hi there,
Thanks for your suggestions and kind words! I will pass your comments along to our product and engineering teams, so they know what our members are looking for.
When you are viewing a video, there is a feature to the top right of your player that is titled "Videos from <username>." The videos that appear there should be from the folder you are in at that time.
Again, I will pass your comments along. If you have any other questions or suggestions, please let us know!
Many thanks,
Kristy K.

Hi Erik,
You do have the option of pausing any of your uploads at any time using the MXU. I realize that would require you being near your computer, but it is something to try. I will pass along your suggestion to your product team as well, so they know what our members are looking for.
Thanks for your input!

Kristy K. replied on January 27, 2009 22:59 to the problem "Widescreen not being detected." in Motionbox:
Hi there,
I'm so sorry you're having trouble. This is a known issue with our encoder, and our engineering team is working to fix it. Once it's fixed, I can go ahead and re-encode your videos, which should fix the problem with the aspect ratio. I don't have an exact timeframe of when it will be done, but I will let you know as soon as it is!
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Many thanks,

Kristy K. replied on January 21, 2009 19:24 to the problem "uploading content from television or film." in Motionbox:
Hi there,
Was there a copyrighted song or music on your video? If so, this may have been the reason for the video's removal. And please do note we cannot have any television or film clips as they are considered copyrighted material as well. Can you also direct me to the bbf website so I can take a look?
Please do let us know if this wasn't the case and we can investigate further!
Many thanks,

Kristy K. replied on January 16, 2009 19:12 to the question "Upload speed" in Motionbox:
Erik, were you using the Express Uploader for your latest uploads? Also, some of the slow upload issues we have been experiencing should be better, so let us know if you're still having trouble.
Thomas, I'm glad things are working well in Sweden!
Let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!

Kristy K. replied on January 05, 2009 21:28 to the question "Random image at start of video" in Motionbox:
Hey everyone,
Thanks for your questions. There is no way to revert to the old player. However, once you play your video one time, the poster frame (still image shown) should encode and then display without pixelation. Garrett, I took a look at yours, and the image seems to be crisp and clear now. Have you had any further problems?
As for the image seen at the beginning, it isn't random, per se. It was chosen as the halfway point of the video, hoping that this may provide an image with context. Our product team is currently looking into having options for this, so stay tuned for more updates.
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please let us know!
Thanks,
Kristy K.
