Ensformig vegetarmenuIkke alene skifter menuen kun én gang om ugen, men de seneste 3 uger (!) har tilbehøret til vegetarretten været sennepsmarinerede bønner. Ku' I ikke variere det lidt?

XMPP interface, pretty pleaseI'd like to be able to receive notifications via XMPP (“jabber”). It would also be neat to be able to send commands to YouAre via XMPP, e.g. posting status updates, searching, following (or leaving) a friend, etc.

pubDate of RSS items set to “Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 GMT”It seems the pubDates of the individual items in my RSS feed are all set to “Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 GMT” (the pubDate of the RSS stream is set correctly, though), meaning that some aggregators — e.g., friendfeed — will put even newly published items at the very bottom of the list.

Well, it didn't even work when I was logged in, but I'm glad you're working on it. – Klaus Alexander Seistrup, on January 28, 2009 08:44

RSS: 404 Not FoundHow long does it take before a status update is added to the RSS feed? I added an item more than 5 minutes ago, yet I receive a “404: Not Found” when trying to fetch the RSS.

A comment on the idea "Please support OpenID" in notify.me:
Perhaps is doesn't make sense for notify.me as a company, but it certainly makes sense for the users of notify.me: We have enough username/password combos to keep track of already, no need for another pair.
I'm confident the wrong decision has been taken. – Klaus Alexander Seistrup, on January 07, 2009 22:57

A comment on the idea "Please fold ISBN-10 and ISBN-13 into one book" in bkkeepr:
At that time I didn't know that bkkeepr had a substantial delay, and I thought it didn't recognize the ISBN-10, hence I tried with ISBN-13. Now I know i have to wait for at least 5 or 10 minutes before thinking it doesn't work. ;) – Klaus Alexander Seistrup, on December 31, 2008 17:53
A comment on the problem "abuse@ and postmaster@ are invalid" in chi.mp:
I suggest you do as Google Apps does: create the mailboxes as a mailing list, and let the user opt-in to receive emails for those addresses.
The problem is a sub-problem of only having 1 mailbox on a given .mp domain. I'd prefer if you let the user add as many forwards as s/he wants. – Klaus Alexander Seistrup, on December 31, 2008 17:29

ISBN-10 0-89389-151-7 and ISBN-13 978-0-89389-151-0, that refer to the same book, were added as two separate books, as far as I can see. – Klaus Alexander Seistrup, on December 31, 2008 17:15
Klaus Alexander Seistrup reported a problem in chi.mp on December 31, 2008 17:01:
abuse@ and postmaster@ are invalidVarious RFCs say that each email domain should have a postmaster@ and an abuse@ mailbox, e.g. RFC 2142 and RFC 5321. However, the MX forwarding.chi.mp happily says “Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table”, which makes all .mp domains eligible for inclusion on www.rfc-ignorant.org.
Chi.mp should allow each domain to add at least a recipient for postmaster and abuse emails.

Please fold ISBN-10 and ISBN-13 into one bookAdding the ISBN-10 and the corresponding ISBN-13 creates two entries for the same book. Since ISBN-10 is now obsolete, why not “normalize” all ISBN-10s so that all bkkeepr ISBNs are ISBN-13s?
