A comment on the idea "Show the number of new unread tweets for each tab" in atebits:

OK, I really like this idea, specifically because seeing at a glance how many new mentions I have gives me a fast way to hone in on these more important tweets, as well as showing me people who have mentioned me but who I am not following (these don't otherwise show up in the main timeline)

Has anyone heard from any of the Atebits folks if this feature is coming to Tweetie? It is so obvious and useful I am surprised it is missing, especially since so much esoteric stuff is in Tweetie already! I bought Tweetie based on the awesome reviews (and I really like many of its features like the integrated image viewing) but I may go back to Twitterfon just for the unread badges!

New tweets from friends fail to show up in main feed for over 24 hours

In the past 24 hours (its now Monday morning July 21) no new tweets from people I am following show up on the main Twitter page (where normally you see all your friends' tweets. If I manually go to an individual friend's twitter page, then I see their updated tweets...but whatever process Twitter uses to aggregates these into a single feed of all my friends is failed. ANyone else having this problem now. It looks like others have had it in the past -- how do you recover from it?

A reboot does nothing for me, I am running 10.5.2, I've tried trashing the plist and re-launching the app, no dice. Only virtual desktop I have running is spaces. – kshusker, on May 18, 2008 18:07

Drive manager window no longer appears

All the sudden a couple days ago, the drive manager window stopped appearing when selected from the menu. Quitting the app, restarting the Mac, trashing prefs, none of that has helped. I can open the about and preferences window fine, and I can connect to recent servers using the recent connections menu, but I can't open drive manager to edit existing connections or create new ones. Does anyone have any ideas?
